Hi All,
What are people using for faction warfare minor plex running? Only destroyers and frigates can use the acceleration gates, but I still want something that can contribute to fleet ops.
Thrasher:
7x250mm Artillery I 1MN MWD, Cap booster, sensor booster (un-scripted) 2xOverdrive injector
The above setup pretty easily clears out the minor plexes solo and can run from larger NPCs and players.
I'm a little unsure on what else to put in the lows as swapping out an overdrive for an istab or nanofiber doesn't seem to make much difference. I've left the last highslot free as a rocket launcher doesn't do DPS at the ranges I like.
Suggestions? Comments?

Not even a Thrasher with it's MWD running forever will catch a fast frigate. Instead, make them come to you by camping the gates or the warp-in points:

This setup is slow as hell so isn't as useful for a roaming nano-gang, but it's a great 'plex camper. It also should cost less than 2mil.
If you wanna go fast and still do good DPS while packing PvP utility, go with a Rifter:

I get over 3km/s with this, it does pretty good DPS, and it should cost right around 1mil. I would also love to see setups for destroyers to counter interceptor gangs. I've met some of such destroyers with my crow until now, and they mostly managed to scare me away. A good skilled pilot with a well fitted coercer is a very scary thing for every ceptor pilot. And you can enter every FW plex with it, which is very nice.
Wonder if there are such setups possible for like the cormorant. A shame I can't enter with a flycatcher... wish I could use turrets, sometimes..

The problem with the Coercer is that it only has a single mid-slot. You can't PvP effecitvely with a fleet of nothing but Coercers or solo in a Coercer, but they make excellent support ships because of the nice balance of range, tracking, and damage that you can get with pulses on one.

U can slo try AC puni if u prefer being tank. Hell those can perma run small repper, have an ungodly resists and can keep u there forever till they run out of ammo Slow as hell but if u like flying bricks...  ---- Drones eat everything. Trust me. |

Merlin would be a good choice too if CCP hadn't forgotten it in the recent railboat buff. Solo Cormorant -Highs: 7x t2 75mm Rail , Ammo to range (AM is good out to about 13kms) 1x t2 Rocket Launcher -Mids: 1x t2 1mn MWD 1x web 1x warp disruptor 1x t2 MSE -Low: 1x t2 Mag Stab
Tracks fairly well, I know for a fact past 10 kms I can hit transversals of about 7-8km/s. Obviously not the fastest thing on the block but only 2 mods really cost any sort of isk so it is cheap fun. Has over 2k shields to work with and will blow up any ceptor or frigate you catch without too much trouble. Probably could handle most other destroyers as well, although it would be tight depending on starting range and setups etc. In a gang the corm could also fit out to be a 80-100km sniper.
