Do the GMs/whoever compare prices against market ever or are they set in stone? I only ask because limited memory augmentation is 750 LP plus 750,000 isk in LP store and 200,000 isk on market.
Are these reviewed regularly and adjusted?

It's probably due to plenty people running storyline missions to get the faction standing high enough for FW and saturating the market with the lower implants they got as rewards. -------- Ideas for: Mining

I generally wait till I get 5250 LPs, buy the implant that costs 5250 lp and 5.250mil ISK then sell them for 7 to 7.5ish depending on the market... I think it's the best for profit... |

Its because too many implants are given as a free bonus on storyline/cosmos missions. Try selling faction ammo insted or manufacture faction. |

Dude you are making 380 isk per lp and you think that is a good deal? That is awful. |

Edited by: Amastat on 01/07/2008 08:53:47 Edited by: Amastat on 01/07/2008 08:52:20 What you are talking about is what I refer to a "crap item". You should research LP stores, and the markets, to learn what are the best items to spend on.
Drone Specialization books are one prime example... that implant you were talking about, would be a worth of: -733.33 ISK per/LP
Drone Specailization books can range in price from 2.5-4m/each. The median is 3m/each, which would amount to: 1000.00 ISK per/LP
If you want to succeed in making as much money as you can off LP stores, find out the worth of the LP - and only buy/sell the items that make the most money for every LP point you have.
As a rule of thumb in my case, I do not purchase items unless I can get a return of 800.00 ISK per/LP or more. If I can't - I just stockpile until the markets change, and I can.
If you are able to run mission very well and get around 20,000-30,000 LP a day, well, that's an average worth of 20-40m ISK worth of LP by my standards.
You find the worth of your LP using this formula:
Loyalty Point Worth = (Purchased Item Worth - (LP Store ISK Charge + LP Store Item Charge Worth) ) / Loyalty Points |

You're either insane or trolling. That's barely 333-428 ISK/LP ! I'm not parting from my LPs for less than 800 ISK/LP not even for convenience purposes (like, say, not wanting to go to a hub to buy the item cheaper), and I usually try to only unload LPs at over 1k ISK/LP... there's even occasional items that go for 1500 or even 2k ISK/LP on contracts.

I've been looking through hardwirings to see if there was any good ones, but the best I could find was something like barly 900 ISK/pu. This being the case - I don't have access to the right LP stores to get it then I guess.
I didn't bother with them though because I know implants are hard as hell to sell - I imagine the one your talking about, if it's even true, would take forever-and-a-day to actually sell. |

the volume on it is low, and you'll never shift your LPs (assuming you run lots of missions) selling only high lp/isk implants, but heh, they help, and you can seed mulitple hubs with them to help with sales volume. |

Lies.
That would mean a 1% HW at 7.5m+, a 3% HW at 200m+, a 5% HW at 1.6b.
If for some odd reason people bought a 1% HW at 7.5m I could believe it, but I've seen no such thing on the market. All the others are far fetched (the best I've seen are refining HW that sell for ~3000 isk/LP).

While were on the subject of the LP store, is there some faction who's value is higher than others.
For example caldari stuff would sell more than anyone else because everyone runs missions in a Raven (i dont mean everyone, you know what i mean), but this is offset by there being so many caldari players running missions.
Minnie i think have the highest value stuff, i know there scrambbler retails at about a 150 mill, while alot of there stuff is geared towards the nano market, make it a very profitable store.
Gallente have the navy megas, probably one of the best navy ships for offensive pvp, plus other navy ships like the navy vexor which make running those missions very profitable.
Amarr have the navy guardian and navy apoc but with its extra slot being a low slot these ships are'nt so flashy but more tankers, and they have good armour stuff that retails at about 25 mill, plus the nos and neuts that are for the more specilized market of pilgrims and curses's.
These are just a few example's i wondered if anyone had any ideas which would be the best faction to work for LP vs isk ?

Here's an example of 5000u of Federation Navy Antimatter L sold at 900 ISK/pu.
666.66 = (4,500,000 - (2,400,000 + 500,000) ) / 2400
20-30k lp a day is a crap turnover unless your running lvl 1's :)

If I had to start all over again, I'd go for a Caldari research corp like Kaalakiota. Not only do you get a good selection of modules and ammo that are in demand (there are more extremely good caldari mods than minmatar mods: Invul field, launchers, BCS, boosters, SBA vs. MWD and disruptor/web and people buy several launchers and BCS usually), but you also get a lot of useful stuff for running missions yourself (CNR etc.).
How to PVP: 1. buy ISK with GTCs, 2. fit cloak, learn aggro mechanics, 3. buy second account for metagaming
