If the Green Lantern has not the willpower to overcome yellow objects, then Batman would win.
However, the ring, for all intensive purposes is the most powerful object in the universe. Couple that with an iron willed Green Lantern (read Black Green Lantern (John Stwewart) who was by far the best Green Lantern) Batman wouldn't stand a chance, even if Batgirl, Alfred, Batboy and Morgan Freeman helped him.

Lol Superman, Green Latern, and all the other Deus Ex Machina heroes all had one-dimensional story-arcs and boring comics. Batman is a much more interesting character and of course he would lose a fight to such powerful characters.
Batman is still more of a badass though, he beats down villains and defends his city through grit, determination, and hard work. Green Lantern has a god-ring. Superman was born that way.

Yes, take away Batman's armor/belt, Green Lantern's ring, Superman's powers, and Batman would be able to beat them up.
But then we wouldn't be arguing about superheroes, we'd be placing bets on a guy who knows martial arts beating up an unemployed architect/freelance artist/fighter pilot or nerdy newspaper photographer.

I'm sorry to spoil anybody's shops but the story goes like this. Superman in the comics after fighting the first green lantern defeated the lantern by removing his powerful ring in an attempt.
Secondly, captain marvel made superman kneel before him after one shock!!!
Lastly, This small narrative should clearly convinced the rest of you guys who the best super hero of all time really is.

green lantern movie appears to be coming out in january of 2009. so that will be cool as he is still a b-team hero. granted he might be better than batman, but he isnt cooler.

you sir are wrong. batman has the rarest super power of them all... common sense! i mean think about it, what other super hero LOOKS before smashing thru a wall into a predictable ambush. with the batmobile and the batjet and even the batseeingeyedog, batman by far has a much better perspective over what's going on in a situation, the only one better them him would be ironman, but that's not dc SO... in conclusion aquaman is by far the worst super hero ever

Green Lantern's weakness is a color. A ******* color defeats his superpower. And its not even an uncommon color, its ******* yellow. He's the only superhero that is afraid of school buses, bananas, and tennis balls. I don't know how anyone can take him seriously tbh.

The green lantern ring is like a target painter, webb, damp, and a warp bubble all in one. Batman's utility belt is like having 8 midslots. Hope this helps.
