just wondering if anyone else is effected by the direct debit issues or is it just me? I've had a petition in for the last half hour now and no response! thought they had a short lead time on payment issue but I've not had any email.
can you tell I need my EVE fix?

well, 2 of my accounts were closed (I have 3), and this acc is still open, since I had a year subscription. I think the 2 that got closed had 6mnths subscription which was planned to run out these days, and I guess they just cleaned up a little.. I dont plan to continue the 2 accounts, and I think they just trying to force ppl back into the game by paying more, but for me it worked the opposite way.. and no, noone can get my stuff.

I don't get it? I wasn't due another payment for 4 months or so, I've been playing constantly since I started the account (since launch tbh) and now I can't use my account because of an accounting error! oh the ironing.

they replied to my petition last night it would seem (without reading it, they seem to think that I'm having issues paying.) and closed it. all while I was in bed. nice trick.

omg that's all I can say. epic fail. re-petitioned it. 2nd petition got closed. apparently its a duplicate. god CCP come on, I've had two accounts with you for YEARS now, can't you just sort this out?

yes was not emailed waited over 12 hours for petition reply, which was a question that was answered in the main petition. guessing my next reply will be in 12 hours after the last so 10 at night. |

I'm not impressed.
Also two accounts of the four were cut off, but I'm not resubscribing those for now. If CCP mess up, they deserve to lose some income for a while at least.
Edit: I was not emailed either, and my correct email address is held by CCP.

My guess is that the same "developers" that coded the forums probably are the same ones who work on the billing system.
This ongoing crap with CCP's billing system is why they will never, never, EVER get my credit card information again.

having billing issues as well - petition response was go activate sub now - so i do and it auths my CC 3x and ccp gives response "cant be authorised"
so im out more money, cannot login, etc |

Thinking things through more, I'm really annoyed that there weren't really any "billing issues" as the 4 charges went through fine, yet CCP still cut off 2 of the 4 accounts.
Then to add insult to injury they charged me again for one account 7 days after the others. I can't tell which one from the statement.
So I've paid five * ú12.26 for this month, for two usable accounts.
I'm glad I only pay a month at a time, or I could be seriously out of pocket this month! |

This is Exactly what happened to me - on 6/18 extra charge from nowhere when all my subs were paid a few days prior.
I had an open petition on this for a week, being told that charge is good - then this today.
i now have 4 charges today to reactivate 1 sub which was today flagged as "permabanned" and was the account with the random extra charge a couple weeks back.
i wonder what is yet to come. |

CCP got stupid and screwed with its system before considering all the "what ifs" is all.
Either that, or this is their new financial profit model, which includes scamming the players themselves of OOG currency to further CCPs funds.
either one makes them look incompetent/unfriendly.

Well, I'll give CCP some leeway because it's the weekend, so I'll give them the rest of the weekend and Monday to get back to me.
However, if there's no response, on Tuesday I'm putting 3 of the 5 payments into dispute with my credit card company.
Two for money taken for accounts that were deactivated, plus one that has just been, erm, stolen from my CC account. |

Thats a good decision. get a third party with some muscle to deal with the new ugly billing ways of CCP. Show em u mean business.

I've had no access to two of my accounts since 12th June. Which I didn't really care about thinking the payment had bounced. No pay, no play. Fair enough.
Then I got my credit card bill showing the payments had gone through fine, but they still deactivated two accounts.
As said earlier, I'll give some leeway assuming the billing dept don't work all weekend, which is fair enough. However some time midweek if I don't see some positive action it's going to be reported to the credit card company as billing me for services not provided.

this is a stealth nerf to having multiple accounts disguised as a billing dept. issue.
if it encourages people to stop powergaming with 50,000 accounts all their own, then CCP owns u suckers. |
