To leave it is to invite disaster such as tripping in the stairs and break your neck, or choke on a chicken bone. ;) I bet Caldari pilots have some fineprint in their contracts forbidding them to leave the pod.

That is, assuming that we will be able to hire NPCs aswell as set up the dialogues for them. It also depends on the cost and if there's an upkeep :P I'm also planning to open a Bar around my Alliance home system, first I was gonna have a minmatar bouncer who'd smacktalk any reds who gets in, but that might be boring with the lack of smacktalk-bar brawls, so maybe I'll just have the bartender act really bad against any reds who'd show up and maybe even take a **** in their beverage :D It all depends on what exactly you can do with the NPCs. I'm hoping you can make your own missions, item exchanges and long dialogue trees with alot of configuration depending on things like standing, race, age of character, corporation/alliance and so on. HOLY CRAP - CCP, YOU PEOPLE ARE GODS /Me kisses the ground the Dev's walk on I wouldn't mind having bars and some girls dancing in there, npc's, just for atmosphere - but other players stripping - it would just drill into the cool factor of EVE. If you have, you should delete your character. If you want to play a non-capsuleer captain, you should delete your character if you're pod-killed--hell, if you lose your ship, you should delete your character, since your character would have died on the bridge. Otherwise, if you have ever woken up in a new clone, that means your ships are controlled via a pod, with you in it. Deal with it.

I'm not much use on the frontline with the exception of using my Vexor for ferrying ammo, drones and cap boosters for the big hitters, so perhaps I can do them good. Also meeting up with corp mates and alliance members in off-time should be fun to. And Ill be opening a bar/shop depending on whats on offer.

Initially Ambulation will be very modest, or at least thats what CCP have stated. At least at first, its only going to be walking to see your agent, or meeting Corp members in a hangar, or such. No hand to hand combat, not running, no striping, etc..... However..... In the LONG RUN, I'd be mildly surprised if we dont see the Ambulation side of the game expanded, and expended a lot, but that will probably be 2009/2010. So, maybe someday you can shoot someone with your blaster pistol, but not during initial ambulation release. The early ambulation expansions will probably be stuff like personal habitates or apartments, complete with "Frozen Corpse Gallery", where you can display your victims. If CCP expands on ambulation at all, I am reasonably sure this will make it into game, as it so fits Eve.....

The thought of the bad guys chasing me around the station as well as the region scares the pants off me! Also. People died because of that crash making that video considerably UNfunny.
