I'm currently using the L4 Q13 Gallente Federation agent in Dodixie and wondering what my next step should be.
Basically I want to maximize the amount of money I make by doing L4 missions. Should I just seek out a Q20 Gallente Federation agent, or look at switching to a different agent/type?
I want to stay in Highsec for now (until I can find a corp).
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks! --- CuddleMonkey! |

Slightly outdated, but easy to cross-check. Look up someone you like in that list, then search for them ingame to confirm the info is right (which it is in 99% of the cases).

Well I guess one question is this - do other "factions" give better rewards, or is sticking with Gallente Navy the way to go for now? --- CuddleMonkey! |

Looks like the highest Q4 I can find is "Alserore Allelery" in Personnel she's Q18 in 0.7 space (Maire).
All above here are in 0.3 or lower.
Is it worth moving over to her to go from Q13 to Q18 in a 0.7? --- CuddleMonkey! |

Edited by: Viqtoria on 28/06/2008 08:56:09 the vast majority of a mission runners income is from rat bounties, decent loot and salvage, i'm not sure how an agent's quality rating affects this.

I would just for a change of space, although lowsec is better for Isk and LP rewards although you do run the risk of getting popped by some pirates or opportunists, sometime the risk is worth it.

If you dont want to go to lowsec but also want a quiet system with no lag then I'd recommend Orduin for a pretty good gallente level 4 agent with a hub just 5 jumps away (Hek)

20% of your isk from each mission come from agent isk/lp reward, and of that 20% there's around 20% difference between different agent quality, so you are talking about 4% difference in payment between extremes.
If I were you I'd just find a quiet system with a decent quality agent, say around Q10, and get my standing up from there. At hubs the lag is so horrible you'd be lucky if you don't lose your ship once or twice and I won't even touch low security. I used to mission in 0.0 for a year but scan probes really made it not worth the trouble.

better quality means: MOAAAAAR pure mission reward, MOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR time bonus (dont forget negotiation 5 for a salty 25% increase of reward) and even MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR LPs which can be cashed out for good items. moar lp = faster getting things to buy = faster moar money. so every1 advising a good quality agent is not important should send me a million isk - its not that much, and you all told us just that having more money is not important! |

Well it looks like the L4Q13 agent in Dodixie is a good choice. I don't think it's worth going to the Q18 agent in Maire at this point... Doesn't sound like the reward is worth it - especially given that's a long ways from the people I know... |

Edited by: Contralto on 28/06/2008 23:23:18 There is a Q18 Admin agent (75% kill 25% courier) in Adrallezoen Sing Laison, which is a real sec 0.47 (but still hi sec) system. Very few missions are in low sec. It is also close to Your current home turf.
The agent works for a Minmatar corp so you would have to get your standings up to 6.7 to access him. He gives in excess of 8k LP's for a top mission (With both connections books to lvl V) the few couriers he gives are quickly done.
As for the agent in Maire, I used him for a long time, but the 26 jumps to get to the rest of Hi sec Gallente space was a pain. especially getting through Gonditsa on the southern route. The more direct northern route is or was camped 23/7

any particular reason why you are staying with fed navy? look around at smaller corps as the better ones will be less lagged and offer 90% of the same lp rewards for example fed intel has Q17 in auvergne.
