It would be nice to have a kind of small doomsday device working like this: all the ships convoy their energy to one single ship; this ship will accumulate all the incoming energy and can use the whole power to perform a huge explosion (like a DDD)
More ships will transfer energy, more powerful it will be.
Of course you need skills to do that, and maybe a module (to accumulate energy and use it as a weapon).
Maybe you can choose HOW and WHAT energy you want to transfer; examples: you can transfer all your cap, or only a part of it, you can transfer the energy of all your modules (they go offline) or only some of them, you can transfer all your shield and so on....
It would be very nice imo, what do you think about it?

incredibly powerful weapon that can be fit on a few inexpensive ships.

empire space can be provided with some kind of distruptor to avoid it to be used (the same way cyno cannot be deployed in empire space to allow capital ships to enter it)

It is and with that said, please, we are never gonna get that weapon.
This weapon is basically a Terran weapon according to Lore and only like a superbeing can use it, and it nearly kills her. so unless your suggesting you get killed + podded every time you fire it, no
