Personally I have no problem with nanoships, they die if your gang is right like everything else, however i do see a role for the future and I think its high time we introduce T3 to the game so ...
I see each of these ships able to do roughly 200 dps (altho the jackels alpha strike should be over a thousand) and have the same mass and agility as the taranis, so roughly 3.5 km/s without nano setup, 6 km/s with. I see the price starting pretty huge but leveling at the 200 million mark.
Heres the thing that i think is important. The idea is that these ships are a response by the various navies to nano and so the building materials needed or bpc's could be handed out by faction navies.
Will this obsolete inties and assault ships? Maybe in the future (as cruisers and frigates are now) but for every vaga pilot there are three stabber pilots in pvp. I'm sure inties will never die (and assaulyt ships are pretty dead now :D) |

Name: Imprecation Hull: Inquisitor Class Role: Assault interceptor
Second generation assault ships, although very difficult to build, have moved this technology forward a further step by increasing their ability to hold a target in position until backup arrives. This coupled with increased speed and defenses makes them an expensive but deadly foe.
Developer: Khanid Innovations
With growing unrest between the enemies of old Khalid engineers looked to the future and saw flames. Gone were the days of huge behemoths, their turret slowly track into place before needle-like lasers would tear an opponent apart. Now a new age had come, an age of speed and agility.
Amarr Frigate Skill Bonus: 25% bonus to rocket damage and 5% bonus to armor resistances per level
Interceptors Skill Bonus: 5% reduction in Signature Radius and 5% bonus to Warp Scrambler and Warp Disruptor range per level
Second generation Interceptor Bonus: 20% bonus to stasis webifier range per level and 25% reduction to tech 2 ammo penalty per level.
Role bonus: 80% reduction in Propulsion Jamming systems activation cost

Name: Kite Hull: Kestrel Class Role: Assault Ship
Second generation assault ships, although very difficult to build, have moved this technology forward a further step by increasing their ability to hold a target in position until backup arrives. This coupled with increased speed and defenses makes them an expensive but deadly foe.
Developer: Lai Dai
Retrofitting the kestrel for gunnery was always going to be a hard task, but with the level of sophistication found in the accuracy Lai Dai have once again excelled themselves.

Name: Jackal Hull: Vigil Class Role: Assault Ship
Second generation assault ships, although very difficult to build, have moved this technology forward a further step by increasing their ability to hold a target in position until backup arrives. This coupled with increased speed and defenses makes them an expensive but deadly foe.
Developer: Thukker Mix
Like its namesake the Jackal is at its best when hunting larger prey in packs. Its artillery can pack a devastating punch to any ship and its alpha strike is truly fearsome for a ship of its size..
Minmatar Frigate Skill Bonus: 25% Small Artillery damage bonus, 15% EM and 10% Thermal resistance bonus to Shield and Armor per level
Assault Ships Skill Bonus: 10% Small Projectile Turret optimal range and 5% projectile rate of fire per level. Interceptors Skill Bonus: 5% reduction in Signature Radius and 5% bonus to Warp Scrambler and Warp Disruptor range per level
Second generation Interceptor Bonus: 20% bonus to stasis webifier range per level and 25% reduction to tech 2 ammo penalty per level. |

Name: Guardian Ishkur Hull: Tristin Class Role: Interceptor
Second generation assault ships, although very difficult to build, have moved this technology forward a further step by increasing their ability to hold a target in position until backup arrives. This coupled with increased speed and defenses makes them an expensive but deadly foe.
Developer: Creodron
Like its namesake the Guardian Vexor the Guardian Ishkur is a ship sure to go down in the history of Gallente design. Its ability to attack targets with devestating speed is truly frightening and while uniquely among combat ships it does not carry the ability for traditional weapons, its shear versatility is still a destructive force on the battlefield.
Gallente Frigate Skill Bonus: 10% drone damage per level, 25% drone speed per level
Interceptors Skill Bonus: 5% reduction in Signature Radius and 5% bonus to Warp Scrambler and Warp Disruptor range per level
Second generation Interceptor Bonus: 20% bonus to stasis webifier range per level and +1 drone controlled per level.
Role bonus: 80% reduction in Propulsion Jamming systems activation cost |

good idea, while we still have a t2 frigate that is pretty useless, why not just introduce t3 ones. brilliant really,

Well, I for one think that every ship should get a 25-50% bonus to web range per level. Maybe even 100%, because nanos are unfair. :)
-Liang -- It was an honor to participate in the Insurgency campaign in Branch. o7 to all involved. |

They clearly are missing...
antinano-bonus: -98% cpu/powergrid requirement for heavy energy neutralizer, -95% heavy energy neutralizer capacitor usage, 500% bonus to heavy energy neutralizer range.
On a more serious note, buff AF speed and/or reduce their mass and they'll do the job just fine, no need for new overbonused ships.
