Edited by: Kirjava on 28/06/2008 19:17:27 Just watched Doctor Who Tonight..... hes gone.
I liked Tennent, new Doctor had better be bloody good
Least he has Piper back for the next series, I liked the "this is my boomstick" scene |

Small point:
There are official pictures taken of David from the filming of the Xmas special for this year.
A theory my fiancee and I have come up with is that this regen will be cancelled out as it's taken place outside of time in the Medusa Cascade. |

This seems most likely, the 1 second out of phase does sound like Doctor Who getout clause in the plot I suppose....
...just as long as they dont do a Romeo Juliet ending with Rose on a suicide mission |

Davros returns, darleks steal earth, the doctor gets 'killed' by darlek, he regenerates to we dont know who (a guest apparence by someone). Most epic episode of new series for a long time |

ooooh good one, I hadn't got anywhere close to that yet But yeah the whole three specials thing next year rather than a series is down to Tennent's schedule iirc |

Im sure they said it was due to them not having had a break at all from writing and filming since they started? or was that something else. |

The doctors hand had a few seconds of air in this ep, and moved around inside the tardis,
I'm betting on it gets sucked into the Regen and heals teh doctor rather then changing him.
*at the time of the regen the hand is close by on the controls of the tardis* IIRC

I think he regenerates into himself again or John Simm, how funked up would that be?
But he's contracted to do the Christmas special, the special episodes in 2009, and possibly series five in 2010. So there's no getting away from it, he doesn't die.
TBH I wouldn't be surprised if Jack gives him some of his life force to prevent him from changing, or even if Rose gives her life to prevent him from regenerating.
Dalek Kahn did say that one of the companions would make the ultimate sacrifice. Odds are its Rose, second is Martha, anyone else is contracted for either more Doctor Who, Torchwood or SJM.

I'm voting for either Rose (because of the whole her kinda dying but not really) or captain jack (because he's been with the doctor on and off for a very long time and currently has eternal life).
I'm confussed though, I think I may have missed an episode. I watched the one last night with the Dr dying and all that but I missed the one last week, which one was that? Because I thought the one last week was meant to be the one I saw yesterday. |

Ahh but jack is the Face of Bo, and he's been seen everywhere up to the ends of the universe, so it can't be him in his current state or we would never have had, the face of bo.
My guesses;
ITs either sarah jane (She's been around for, like, forever) or the one that already died (Hariot Jones, she was after all willing to die to bring him back to earth AND we never actually saw her die) |

Why has nobody noticed that Donna has been told she's going to die by multiple characters (the Ood, Rose and in the Pompeii episode to name 3)?
Of course there is still the option that the Medusa Cascade exists outside of space-time & the events occurring within could be erased by the end of the storyline.
So... I still say Donna is the most likely to be killed as it's been an ongoing thread through this series.

That and Donna is the least popular of the 3 by a considerable margin....
Piper was always the favorite, bring her back I say
Tate is a good actor.... for comedy not for Doctor Who though |

Well that is true, she saved his life once before... As the doctor said, there is something strange about her, he met her twice AND her grandfather before he knew it was her grandfather. |

I thought that the coming of "Bad Wolf" explained how he met her a few times, its the sighn of when Rose started rewriting everything back in the end of series 1.

YEah, thats true, something thats bugging me though, didn't that thing "on her back" die when she came back to the "real world"? Why did that person at the Shadow Proclimation say "There's something on your back"?

I believe she said there WAS something on your back.
OK, here goes the people who cannot die (permanently), the Doctor, Jack, Gwen , Ianto, Sarah Jane or her son, or Donna because they are signed up for the next series of Torchwood, Doctor Who specials or the Sarah Jane mysteries.

You would of thought his daughter would play a part, why create her and not use her unless shes meant for next series. Anyway i hope he doesn't die, but i don't mind if donna goes, shes good but she's still not right in my mind.
