A quick contract check will show that it is easy to find sell offers for CN Cruise missile launchers for 50 mil per piece. I wonder why people continue to invest their LPs in that instead of taking the cheaper Caldari Navy Heavy Assault Missile Launcher and selling it for more profit? Same goes with Caldari Navy Heavy Missile Launcher.
I don't understand this - I'm trying to buy 5 x CN HAML and after a day of pasting in Jita I still don't have a single offer, but there are tons of new contracts for CN Cruise launchers at 50 mil each.

The tread is informative for Mission runners - it is way better to transfer LP into Heavy and HAML instead of Cruise launchers. Can someone prove me wrong?

Probably because the demand on the cruise launchers is a known figure, and a lot of those sold are probably used and resold on the first place, while the navy HAMLs are a fairly new addition to the LP store, and generally useless for mission runners so demand for them is likely very low. I am sure though if you pay a premium some caldari mission runner will be more than happy to get you the 5 you need. I know I would if I had Caldari LP left.

Faction Ammo, launchers etc etc all have ok lp ratio. Warzones you get top doller for navy ammo!
Republic MWD's etc are where all the isk/lp ratio is. HAM launchers, how may people in the whole of eve needs them? Very few. How many people would use navy Cruise? A lot, but its a limited market (mission runners rarely die).
Republic MWD's, at least nanoships die more often than mission ships so there is a regenerating demand for these (and they sell for 5x the isk/lp of faction ammo/launchers). But back to your qeustion, when there is high demand for HAM launchers, then there will be high prices. Currently its mostly amarr pilots who use HAM launchers. |

There is demand, there is no supply! There is only 1 (one) sell contract for 6 CN HAML and it is priced at 67.8 mil per piece. I think that from 35k players there is more demand than that.
And what about the Heavies? They are going at 60+ mil per piece, compared to 50+ mil for Cruise and there are enough search for them. You can buy CN Heavy Missile Launcher from LP Store cheaper than Cruise so it is double win.

There is very little demand for the prices that make them worthwhile. HAMLs are a PvP tool and PvPers are not nearly as likely as mission runners to shell out iskies for expensive mods, especially not for weapons of which you need multiples and which cannot use T2 ammo.
What do YOU need them for anyway?
The only use I found for faction HAMLs was using Khanid ones for an all Khanid fit Sacrilege for Angel ratting, but when I looked at the costs associated with it (LP better spent on something else, tags) I quickly gave up on that idea again. |

Well, there's a 5 run cald navy cruise launcher for 90k isk in the LP store. Minus the tags to buy it with and the minerals, I figure it can do 2k/lp |

cruise launchers are most common for lvl 4s, used for missions by ravens
heavy assault missile launcher are short range hi damage weapon system, not very easy to use for PVE
and for PVP tech 2 heavy assault missile launcher are cheaper, used by sacrilieges
perhaps a nighthawk pilot may want CN launchers, but the demand is very low indeed.
