After what amounts to around 2 years of perpetual war. Fix fields it's largest ever fleet. 130 Pilots and 35 capitals. DEC 2007: The coalition manages to hold some cohesion vs the GBC. With MC switching sides and opening up a 3rd front vs BoB. The North (Primarily RAZOR) manage to dislodge Fix from Querious. OMG FIX is DEAD AGAIN. FEB/MAR 2008: Fix leaves GBC and goes on campaign with -V- in the Great Wildlands. Fix acheives our highest ever effeciency and K/D ratio vs FOUNDATION. MAY 2008: Fix allies SMASHKILL to create FVCKAS in the Drone Regions and participates in the largest capital fight ever seen in Eve (F-T accounted for). Not bad for a "dead" alliance. Fix is unique in our ability to survive. It's our ability to adapt and re-invent ourselves which has led to 4 years of alliance life. If the drone regions killed us, it will be one of many deaths we've had and many more to come. Trust me when I say that if you don't see Fix today, you'll definitely see us tomorrow. We've fought with or against pretty much everyone in game at one time or another. We'll keep doing what we do, having fun and making explosion where necessary. The drone regions closes one chapter, but a new one is being imagined, planned and written as I write this. Now OP, tell me of your alliance and it's acheivements...

Some of the 300 guys that left your alliance during the first 2 months of IRON's "invasion" (hint: it wasn't an invasion at that point) did seem to be saying on your internal forums that FIX was heading for a failure cascade, but there you go.

The IRON/RZR/MM/PURE invasions that went from mid/late 2006 through to around fall 2007 were the best times to be in FIX. They're not FIX, mostly because they left, but also because most of them are quitters.

Fix is what she is. A very international alliance of good friends, occasional lovers and infrequent nemesissies (Hi Nez! ) She's survived at least 4 generations of names and faces. She's also been the launching point for other famous groups like Outbreak via Battle Angels. But mostly, she is a grand conglomeration of people who are playing to have fun. How else could an alliance survive and even thrive in the environments that FIX has existed in? Theres got to be something good going on there, otherwise their slackjawed, alcoholic, slope browed pervert of a recruiter would have never been able to pack FIX with such awesome corps. From the days of Boldyn on down to today's Jozzie, fleet leaders seek out, not only stuff to shoot at. But also build the bonds of loyalty and friendship. In my years of FIXness, I've had the chance to make friends with folks from all over the world. And horrify them. Not to mention getting to learn alot about different peoples and places. The great x-mas camps in HED, raiding Catch and all points North. Passing out drunk in enemy held territory (or in 9cg during a war). And thats barely the tip of the iceberg. Say what you will about FIX. She's won wars, she's lost wars. She's died and risen from the ashes under the helm of vastly different leaders. She's existed in fame, infamy and obscurity. And yet, here she is after all this time. It's not due to the efforts of one person, or even one corp in FIX. It's because the spirit of FIX has survived in her members, new and old. Friendship. Loyalty. Honor. Fun. Those are the ties that bind. And those ties have kept FIX together through events that would and have destroyed many others. In the face of that sort of history and tradition, the turds cast by your average CAOD booty sniffer don't really matter much. Dross in the face of almost a half decade of pride and survival. Kudos dear FIXians. Keep the faith and stay true to your ideals. Fight for what you believe in, you'll be amazed at the results. P.S. Lub you too Kobby.

Legionari chose to stay closer to their master BoB and are now in an alliance with ex-Xelas corps, pretending in their recruitment threads to be a "PVP alliance". They were so used to their pet status that their official policy states that BoB lead ops are mandatory (lol). All in all, the worst elements of FIX already left, so this is one of the few cases of alliances losing members and actually improving it. -clp

I wouldn't say its uncommon at all for alliances to loose members and improve. Actually I think goonswarm would vastly improve if it lost a few members. Say 100%? While my experience in a particular FIX corp was largely negative, I sure had a blast on the alliance gang ops. These guys do not deserve COAD's ridicule. Not sure what's tickin' in FIX at the moment, but a handful of them are keeping us on our toes down in Q. I have to admit, though, all reds look the same to me and I've assumed IRON, FIX, and IT were all on the same side >_>;; ---
