Announcing the tentative information for the upcoming:
10 MILLION ISK Teamspeak Frigate Joust
Tentative Start Date : July 1, 2004 at 7:00 e.s.t.
Sign-up start date: June 1, 2004
Sign-up deadline: June 29, 2004
Sign up NOW for the Official Joust Update List for up-to-date information about changes or adds regarding the tournement.
Tournement rules will be provided in the Joust Update List and posted on this forum on or about June 1, 2004.
To recieve the free Official Joust Update List message Freeor ingame.
The Frigate Joust will be 1on1 PvP combat in 0.0 space near the Lonetrek Region. There will be competitions for all levels of frigate ships (Level 1, Level 2, and Open Competition).
Security will be provided by our sponsors at the event.
Escorts to the event will be available for a nominal fee from our sponsors which will be based on your departing location.
All Frigates will be available for purchase by competitors at a discounted rate by our sponsors at the event.
A variety of ships equipment will also be available for purchase by competitors at the discount rate.
Entry Fee (subject to change): 50,000 isk per person or 250,000 isk per corporation (limit 10 pilots)
Entry Fee paid as follows: 10% of entry fee must be paid on or before June 29, 2004, and remainder on day of event. You can sign-up for free starting June 1, 2004 but deposit must be made before June 29. You may also register now for the Joust Update List for free.
If you would like to be a sponsor for the upcoming event message Freeor ingame. Sponsors will be required to pay a fee for sponsoring the event in exchange for being allowed to sell their "wares" at the event. Sponsors must also agree to sell their goods at a set discounted rate.
If you would like to help organize the event message Freeor in-game. Organizational assistance will be paid well, or be allowed to offset some of the Sponsor fees.
CEO's: Sign up your corp, and be represented well. Limit 10 pilots per corp. fee paid. No limit on number of paid corp. fees.
Recruiters and noobs: Find each other by showing what you can do. If your looking for more than just another mining beam for mining, this is where you'll find some of the best pilots and corporations in the game.
