Hi,
Just the other day, I came across this Frigate. I'm rather new to the game, so everytime I come across a different looking ship, I check it's stats, and see how good or bad it is...But I was rather shocked, so shocked in fact, that I had to grab screenies of it's stats...This frigate is a monster, and it's the kind of ship, I'd hate to see in battle :/

That ship can't be used by regular players... I haven't seen that version of it, but I've seen another one that looked very much the same but with different texture. The fact that it states that it's the most powerful polaris frig makes me believe that it's a dev frig, but I don't know. Who was the pilot?
It's used by GM/ISD/Devs (maybe others aswell).

Could you please not edit the picture... it makes your story less credible.
But it is a cool beast... also it shows proof that there aint a ship alive that is invincible... note it does not have 100% resistances... of course it wont go down any time soon.
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |

I've update dthe picture, made it look tidier, as I whacked it together in a few mins, just to show a friend urgently :)
I had to edit the picture Haratu, in order to show the whole statistics window, I had to take 2 screengrabs for the top and bottom portions of the window.
Sadly, his name wouldn't show up, due to his insane max speed, he disapeared as quickly as he appeared onto the screen...
And neither did I think, to look at the required skills tab :(
I was just concerned, as where some friends, incase it was some kind of ship exploit.

It's a polaris ship, IE a GM ship, only a GM can ever have one, they arn't meant for real playing.
I don't care how few resistances it has, when your shields have 5K hitpoints and recharge in 2 seconds, it would be really amazing to see anything take them down and keep them down... They might as well have 100% resistance to everything LOL.
So yeah fear not... unless your really really bad you will never see this ship in action :)

GMs are not the same as polaris... that would suggest that ISD are GMs... which they are not.

that is the regular polaris frigate they been flying around forever.
they are awsomely fast, but they don't have any guns, so it is kinda redundant if u met one in battle;)
BTW. polaris are the volunteer team that help out the GM's if u didn't know.

i've seen one of those before. they nee the skill 'polaris' to use, which is immpossible to get if you are not plaris/gm/dev

The ships are used by ISD mostly. It's fast, unarmed, you can't attack it, and after a while it's also terribly boring to fly.
But they look good.

In that case, can I have one? If you could give it 4 of each slot, and the powergrid/CPU of a raven, i'd personally fly to your town and shine your shoes.

It does however, have the ability to fit a 100MW MicroWarpDrive... to a frigate... with a base speed of 2500m/s
I may be way off, but wouldn't that give it a speed or ~ 1,250,000 m/s?
