Supply is down, we can all put that much to paper with little effort. You guys just emailed me a "deal" on PLEX. 6 for $105 I have 4 accounts, $15 X 4 = $60 Suppose I want to buy 2 PLEX because I am too lazy to grind ISK for whatever reason. $35 is 2 PLEX standard. $60 for Subs + $35 for PLEX How is $105 a deal again?

Once upon a time we paid for 90 day GTCs what we currently pay for 30 day PLEX. In ISK. PLEX don't seem like a very good marketing tool or business model when you think about it like that. Plex cost more then normal subs. Think of it as a convenience charge, or an RMT tax.

Buying only 1 PLEX is exception and costs 19.95 USD/EUR. And then there are occasional special offers with reduces prices (none currently). New to EVE? Half of them are over 500 mill. I can have $95 come out of my account or $105 come out of my account and get the exact same result. It's a sham-wow deal. Or you are just hard wired to be contrary. Either way, I won't be buying Plex. People don't buy PLEX from CCP to extend their game time, they buy them simply to raise ISK in-game. If people stop buying those PLEX in-game with ISK, then the price of PLEX on the market will drop.

Either way, I won't be buying Plex. Read my other post, Plex are not a good deal compared to a sub. They aren't meant to be. Even if you buy the EVE physical time cards they are more than the monthly fee. They basically include a convenience fee, its just not labeled as such. The 6 plex deal your looking at is going to be used by people that want to RMT w/o getting banned. People that are looking for a "deal" aren't buying plex to use for a sub, they are buying plex to sell them. The people subbing with Isk aren't the ones buying them, they are people who would rather spend their isk then real money to play.

I've always bought PLEX because I was told it was a player subsidy system. Allowing people to play that might not have been able to otherwise. Either way, nobody is buying them right now but maybe Plex need to go to 750 and maybe CCP will see this from my point of view.
