[High] 650 Artillery Canon x6 Tractor Salvager [Mid] MWD Web Scram Cap Booster [Low] MAR II x2 Gyrostabilizer II x2 DCU II EANM [Rig] ?
Shinta Kobi Minmatar	Posted - 2008.06.30 16:36:00 - [2] I've had issues with 650 II's. The RoF is nice, but DPS seems to be lacking even at optimal compared to 720 II's. For ratting, I use(from memory): [High] 6x 720mm Arty II 1x HML I[Thunderbolt](skilling for II's) 1x Salvager [Mid] 3x Cap Recharger II 1x Tracking Comp II[tracking script] [Low] 1x DCU II 1x Tracking Enhance II 1x True Sansha Adaptive Nano Plating 2x PDS II 1x Medium Armor Rep II Rigs: 1xAux Nano Pump I, 1xNanobot Accel I, Trimark Armor Pump I Drones: I use Hammerhead I's because I'm not as skilled in drones as I should. With skills, I can tank 2 rat BS's and any additional frigs or cruisers with only 1 repper and my cap never drops below 60%. Armor stays steady at 60-65% throughout the fights. It's about 1 reload per BS on the artys, so make sure your using some drones.

Liang Nuren Perkone	Posted - 2008.06.30 18:59:00 - [5] Hmm, I could be wrong (It's sitting in Stella Polar space), but I believe I ran with this: Hurricane 6x 425mm AC II, Tractor, Salvager 10mn MWD I, 2x LSE II, <Hardener II> 4x Gyro II, 2x PDU II 3x CDFP I 5x Hobgoblin II It easily handled the high end triple Guristas spawns, but it was generally faster to run with my Ishtar. The ammo consumption was also pretty immense, but once I got a million rounds of PP, it wasn't so bad. ;-) -Liang

I used a shield tank for the 4 gyros in the lows. ;-) -Liang Ed: The rats will eventually beat the tank down, but there's generally enough downtime in waiting for your system(s) to respawn to let your shields recharge. -- It was an honor to participate in the Insurgency campaign in Branch. o7 to all involved.
Tammarian	Posted - 2008.07.03 03:02:00 - [13] I've tried a few things out and I've found a few things: namely ACs rock compared to Arties and that the shield tank setup on Battleclinic is way overtanked + MWD uses cap so fast it never recharges because of all the SPRs in the lows. I've been ratting Serpentis with this: Hurricane [High] 425mm AC II x6 Tractor Salvager [Mid] 10mn MWD Invuln II LSE II x2 [Low] DCU II PDU II Gyro II x4 [Rigs] CDFP I x3 The tank is decent and stuff goes down fast. Now if I could just find a way to get free ammo

If you think getting in range takes too long (even with an MWD on a cane), just make bookmarks at your chained spawns and warp to them instead of to the belt (yes, I'm a professional carebear. Yarrr!). Depending on the rats, passive shield tank (with 3 gyros) or even speed tank (with 3 gyros) might work, otherwise the usual 2x MAR fitting (with crap DPS because no slots for 3 gyros) should always be fine. There's no "best" setup in general (O'RLY! NO SHIT SHERLOCK?!). Just keep balancing tank, dps, cap recharge and pvp mods (just in case) until you find the optimal setup that works for your skills and the rats in your system.
