minnie ceptors suck ass as solo ships. stiletto is an excellent taclker but has very very poor dps. and the claw while been capable of good speeds just doesnt work too well imo. u may as well fly a rifter tbh.

They're both utterly crap for solo.
Stiletto is a great tackler but doesn't even have the dps to take down an industrial.
Claw has only 2 midslots so it's pointless tackling anything on the gate since you can't web it and stop it getting back to the gate. No web on the Claw means AC fit is out, anything you engage will web you, saunter merrily out of AC range and blow you straight to hell. Arty Claw is crap since the thing has a 21km lock range with max skills.
Shame really, I trained Minmatar interceptor first before they were nerfed to buggery when the Stiletto lost it falloff bonus. Now if you want solo inty fun you have to train another race instead imo.

Second what Dealer Bob said, get a Rifter it's good enough to be worth splashing out on T2 and rigs for and can give inties a real fright. |

Arty-Claw is half-decent to kill frigates and other inties solo. Its lockrange is a pain tho, but it's fast.
Stiletto is an excellent tackler, it can run mwd+scram+web capstable. |

The Stiletto with a fourth mid cap booster was always cap stable. But since the latest interceptor changes they are all cap stable now so that's not an advantage anymore.
You have a very small choice of viable frigate or inty targets in an arty Claw. Anything short range with a web flown half decently will screw you over, and of course there's no point engaging anything near a gate or station at all since you can't web them to stop them jumping/docking, and good luck keeping a lock on anything that wants to escape with a 20km lock range, your target applies 1 cycle of MWD overheat and bye bye.

I do like stiletto purely for the amount of HP you can get with the thing. Beat a blaster ranis in a duel with it although haven't had a chance to try it out properly (had a change of location and aren't many ceptors around to fight). |

Stiletto isnt capstable without cap mods if you're using t2 mwd and point (which you should).
Lockrange can be extended by relatively cheap rigs.
Edit: There are more viable frigate/inty targets for the arty claw than you'll get in a crow.
