Less than an hour ago, Gallente Union ships sat in orbit of the planet New Caldari, putting on a demonstration and protesting the lack of security that led to the death of the Jovian Veniel.
In local, Lord Eidolon made the following public statement:
"This is Lord Eidolon, President of the Gallente Union. I have an official announcement to make."
"The Gallente Union (GU) has been watching security in the New Caldari system for some time, and they have observed that it has grown steadily worse."
"We are appalled at the absolute lack of protection that was afforded to the Jovian Veniel, when he was here conducting business on behalf of the Jove Empire last week."
"The death of the Jovian delegate, Misu Baniya, was a tragedy and an embarassment for the Jove. To add insult to injury, New Caldari security forces stood by and did nothing while renegade pilots opened fire and destroyed Veniel."
"The Caldari have not heard the last from us on this matter. The Gallente Union would like to assure the Jove Empire that such atrocities would never be allowed to happen in the peaceful Gallente Federation, where our security actually serves its purpose."
"On behalf of the Gallente Federation, The Gallente Union would like to announce that it is open to contributions of Jove pieces, for their safe return to the Jove in the hands of the far more competent Gallenteans."
"These parts will be stored by the Gallente Union for safekeeping until arrangements have been made for their safe return. Pilots who donate parts will have their names recorded on an honorary list, and these names will be forwarded to the Jovians."
"Fellow Gallenteans, we must pool our collective resources for the good of the Federation."
"To contribute to the cause of the Gallente Union, take your Jove body parts to Luminaire system, Caldari Prime, Federal Administration Information Center and set up an escrow locked to "Lord Eidolon"."
"Join channel "Gallente" and speak with GU Officials if you have any questions. Together, let's help the Gallente Federation win favour with the Jove. You will reap the benefits, too - all contributors are guarenteed a share of reward. For the Federation!"
"Additional: The Gallente Union has been in talks with various Gallente corporations and movements, and it is the wish of many to unite all causes into one, single Gallente effort. We will be looking for partners. Join channel "Gallente" to talk to others."

Noble, but slow - Nightfang already started the Gallente campaign to collect as many as possible. Co-ordinate your efforts to his, so that you're not getting into bidding wars to hand over Jovian guts to the same Gallente official

The Gallente Union is already working closely together with many Gallenteans, including Nightfang the starter of the other thread.
We are doing good, but we need to do better.
This post is a good way of getting the news out to the public!

Before anyone call GU slow, please notice that Nightfang were only 4,5 hours faster to post than GU. We dont have that many forum-*****s yet to bump messages to page 1. - but we are working on it
And this is not a competition on who collects most within ourselves. The more who help getting the bits the better! Then we can coordinate and help eachother make the goals when the orders are up!

This is teh main co-ordinated effort by the gallente oto collect the jove body parts. If we all work together the jovian reward will be ours. muahahahahaha

Be it Amarr, Luminaire, or Pator, the Jovians days were numbered as soon as he announced the public nature of his visit. Consider the blatant attacks by Zombie Corp in Yulai. Against outlaw pilots, there is no security that will be sufficient. The fact that Veniel was killed in New Caldari is insignificant. A large crowd had planned to kill him regardless of where he would be, and his only possible protection would have been to stay docked.

I have about 300 Cerebral Slices that I've managed to collect thru various means
Mainly to be kept out of the hands of the Gallente.
But I can overcome your smell long enough to accept offers

Yes Krieger, we can use anything--my sole part was a Bone Splinter, and if worst comes to worst, we can use the other pieces to barter with the other races to complete our set. Every little bit helps!

Well, I cant wholely agree with that, since caldari are just about worst at anything that doesnt involve egocentric behaviour and the soulless desire for profit.
I do fear however that their insane rate of mulpiplication will mean that the fact that there's alot more Caldari around then Gallenteans, will mean that the Caldari will get their foulf paws on many parts of the Jove
