I just thougt it would be fun to learn alittle about piracy history, like witch systems used to be the most deadly and witch tacticts that were used and maybe some history about the old corps you hear about... as a noob it kinda sucks not knowing whats been going on:P
and i might learn something useful as a pirate.

to add a measure of seriousness to your post, octobersnow used to be the bane of my existence, gingermagician would camp the hagilur gate in a mega for hours on end(before warp to 0), and pop anything not fast enough to get to the gate or anything small. tiller was another one of these guys. in fact i havent seen either of them in a very long time.

m0o used to be the most fear'd pirate corp in the game, and the best PVP corp in the game at the time, the corp would alone put fear into other alliances when they heard m0o were on the way. M0o were also in m0ovolution, which could be described as a very early version of BoB. This is going back a long long time ago however :).

The Eve History wiki has some stuff on it, including a brief description of mOo.
It needs more stuff about the early days, tbh, but is quite good where people have put the effort in to writing articles.
