A MESSAGE FROM MANAGEMENT
At The Last Gate, we pride ourselves on the ownership and operation of a neutral ground for people to meet and talk business, and our ability to provide top class entertainment and quality food and drinks.
As of July 3rd, we take that one step further. Business in Veto Corp is on the up and up. The corporation is thriving, and to celebrate a massive and permamant upturn in business and a record rise in our share prices we extend our offer of hospitality to capsuleers from all walks of life.
From midnight tonight, all charges on drinks and food at The Last Gate are waived, permanantly. The only charges that remain in place will be the gambling charges for buy in at the Poker tables.
While certain individuals and corporations whom have caused disturbances on our premises in the past will remain barred from entry, we offer our hospitality to all those who wish to sample some of the finest food and drinks in the cluster.
Obviously as the proprietor, I must warn guests that regardless of alcohol intake and political tension, The Last Gate remains neutral ground, and any attempt at causing serious disruption will be deal with harshly by both automated defense systems and a large compliment of security staff.
We hope to see many of you soon for a drink on the house. To organise a poker game, please contact my second in command Hussmann for further details.

That's a very generous gesture, and will hopefully bring even more visitors to the last gate.
Hospitality and neutrality towards different groups and bloodlines is best represented by the host, and I'm sure I'll experience this friendliness and openness when I next invade the place with my dubious Khanid presence, Ethan Verone.

Well, it's a simple concept.
Business... the things that we do to make a living... are on the up... meaning they are good... and up... as emphasis... meaning they are indeed better than good.

Well Yarod, Verone may be scum, and Guristas s****at that, but he's been s****a long time and thus a lot of experience being scum, and, of course, has an unfortunate tendency to be very good at being s****- I'll give him that much.
(EDIT: That's odd. Sometimes the CRC autocensor fires on "scum", and sometimes it doesn't. How bizarre)

It censors "scum" if there's a space immediately after the word, but not if there's another letter or a punctuation mark. Scum. S****. See?
The autocensor is so buggy as to be almost entirely useless anyway. It's not censoring "Scum" it's actually trying to censor a slang term for male ejaculate.

I've never seen the need for that buggy piece of trash anyway. What exactly does it enforce? Politeness? I think that went out the window when people started calling each other witches and prostitutes. Decency? Then why not censor references to slavery and exotic dancers as well, since there are cultures that find these subjects to be morally indecent. Mutual respect? I think that exercise would be doomed to failure the moment you put a Republican Minmatar and a pro-Reclaiming Amarr on the same communications medium.
It's an antiquated, useless filter that doesn't serve any purpose except to cause communications obfuscation. Do you know it filters "safe guard" if it's said all as one guard? I ask you.

While I respect Mr. Verone - coming close to the point of even likeing him - I can not see how anyone would want to do business with his criminal organization called Veto.
The only way I could imagine making money with them is if the Veto crew got captured, and was then publicly executed - preferably on my estate on Amarr. Tickets to view the executions could be sold, thus generating income.
To make sure none of the Veto crew took this personally, I would be willing to give out free drinks to all of the crew before the execution.

My hologram will be there as holograms are less supensiable to sharp objects of all forms... If you see my point or maybe VETO would be generous enough to put a certain Eagle class cruiser on my tab since its free. Well of course you would, shanking customers does not generate too much cash and we are all civilized men.
