My friends and I have started a corperation and am wondering if the corp members contribute to the corp in some way,if not how does the corp make money?

I have the tax set at 5% and we are mining and doing missions but no income into the corp wallet yet and its been two days...Help?

For example : When ratting/doing missions, part of the kill goes to corp (the percentage).
Sales gives the given percentage aswell.
YOu're doing it (something) wrang, I think o.O
Also Corp ticker or lock.
I feel trolled.

1. put on your corp ticker, is under settings over in that colum thing on the left with all the words that you click.
2. set your corp tax rate to 10% for the mission runners, slowly money will trickle in. FOr mining ops, collect all the ore at the end then sell it and make sure the corp gets 10% of the split

Yes I have that set,but Its just not showing any money,also I just mined a load and docked then sold vaspar under the advanced tab and checked the box corp wallet,and no sale appeared anywhere?
I don't currently have an office as we are new and don't have the funds yet ,could this be the problem?

Start recruiting greedy people with promise of riches, join some 0.0 carebear alliance and just live off tax's. Run plex's and corp mining ops and moon mining if any good moons are free. Just keep most of this stuff for your own private gain. Get your corpmates to do the admin for day to day stuff by empowering them with leadership ranks and basically skim off their labour to buy yourself whatever you want. If your space is ever invaded, just pocket the corp hangers under cover of moving them nobody is ever any wiser.
Or you could run a corp baised on what you define as fun. E.G Looking at some FW corps, they run missions as a corp for a few weeks, build up a big stockpile of ships all fitted etc and spend the following month pvping that stockpile away having fun. - Its all about connecting with your corpmates since your corporation should work as a corporation insted of a collection of solo players with a chat channel. If you can connect with your corpmates, steer them towards whatever you collectively define as fun and work out a plan involving them to acheive this goal.

Any rat bounties (under 30,000) don't get taxed. However, the corp wallet should be getting a cut of each mission completed.
The tax from sales is just a tax and has nothing to do with the corp wallet. Either take a cut and put it in the corp wallet or put up a corp sell order.

Have u selected an active division? If not - Open corp wallet on the right side - select division, select one and it should be fine then.

While I agree that the corporation stuff isn't well documented, even I could find the note that taxes are only paid from two things: NPC bounties and mission rewards (NOT mission time bonuses). And of those only if the bounty/reward is over a certain sum. (I think on the lines of 40-50k?)
If all you do is hoard veldspar, you will not get any taxes. That said, why should you? If you have only an office or two, you can easily fund them by donations. If it's a quiet station, the office costs 10k a month. If it costs a hundred megazillion, try finding another station.
And a reminder to CEOs: Prepare to be the purest bastards in your corp. (Unless you just take your advantage on the corp members and get their stuff, steal from the corp hangars and such, but let's say that that way you ain't going to have much luck keeping the corp for long.)
Edit: Of course, once your corp has capital, you could try to find a good trader and invest some for returns. This requires trust. Don't come to me crying if the trader steals your money.
