Hi,
I found something curious just now, as I didn't really play at EVE since three months.
I have a LCD monitor with a Geforce 8800GT, Nvidia 175.16 WHQL, set at 1280*1024.
I only play in Window mode, but now it give me only 2 choices of screen resolutions : 1024*768 1280*1024
Like I am still in Fullscreen, where I have this 2 choices also.
Where are 1280*960 and less ? I used to have something like 960 in vertical to keep the taskbar and so access to others programs more easily.
I didn't go to Window Mode to have a slighty less sized EVE screen.
I guess that it is a local problem, but I don't find what is it. It can be the driver, but it is an official one and I had one day ago a 169.28 WHQL who did the same behaviour.
How can I solve that ? ____

You can set custom resolutions in the Nvidia control panel, successfully created ones will show in the Eve menu.

Indeed, I didn't know about this possibility and it works greatly.
Thanks for your help, it is really appreciated ____

Custom modes FTW, bt as it is I think that eve only offers the displays that windows thinks it can do -- BIG Lottery, BIG Deal, InEve, USERPROFILE

This makes a lot of sense for full screen mode, but I'm not sure why the client needs to limit itself this way while in windowed mode.
