Is the Vargur useful to anything but Salvage?

Vibora BR Minmatar	Posted - 2008.07.04 04:11:00 - [1] As a Minmatar I was looking forward to improve my skills and be able to use the Marauder (Minmatar T2 Battleship). But after some tries in the EFT and reading the bonus it gives I really don't change my Maelstron form this crap. I can't believe the Minmatar Marauder is like this, so frustrating

Also it can slavage while fighting, and it gets an awesome bonus to falloff range, which makes autocannons a lot better.

I wouldn't but hardcore mission runners would :P also why do you have to fit salvagers? you can also fit smartbombs and heat sinks to overheat all 4 guns ( in other words 8 worth) and they will last as if they were each being overheated alone with the sinks. that's powerful. still no I wouldn't spend that, I think it should be a 500 mil ship but it's to expensive to build to sell at that.

And since you already ran out of cpu, some cheap (cpu wise) ECCM, because we all know you need them. First sign of anything at all, overload everything and hope you last longer than he does ^^ Other than that, Pve is rather nice in my paladin, can fit salvage and guns and tank, and do it more or less well. Not as wonderful as a deticated salvager, but it does dps and tank as well as an abby. A few cheap faction things (an AN lar for instance), and you can fit 4x tachys to go along with it... improving gank while improving tank :D Ok im done.
