Hello, I'm running an Nvidia 8800GTX graphics card that has suddenly started generating a BSOD upon alt tabbing. This is a brand new issue and all I have changed with my PC recently had been upgraded the graphics driver to v175.19. It is also generating the message
"nvlddmkm.dll has stopped responding" Then my screen flickers several times slowly as if it's attempting to reset the graphics driver, then the BSOD occurs.
Again, this is with a Nvidia 8800 GTX card with premium graphics settings. I've not ever had this issue until I updated to the latest drivers.
Is this a known issue and is there a workaround for it? Or do I need to rollback my drivers?
Thank you for your time

Im having some issues with a GTS 8800, no BSOD yet (NVidia drivers up to date, vista ultimate)
EVE crashes on login when set to full screen(1920x1200), with premium graphics and everything set to max, works okay in windowed(1680x1050) Worked fine previously

There's no problem at all with my Nvidia 8800GT running under Vista 64. My 8600GT card (in a different computer with Vista 32) is causing some problems. Right now I can't see a workaround, the driver version doesn't really matter in my case. Maybe installing Vista 64 would help, but I'm not going to do that. |

Not sure if this helps, I have had a simmilar issue when I 1st started playing Crysis. (i know its not EVE but it is GPU intesive.) And i found that my 8800GTS 512 came with a stock fan setting that allowed the card to get up over 70c. I have since then Dl'd Riva tuner and up'd the fan speed to 50% and not one crash since. EVE has never had an issue, Not sure if that helps but the BSOD and such sounds like what I had going on with Crysis
