Might not be the place to post this, but here it goes. I fly my phobos for a while now, but just saw this. I have blasters fitted on the ship, but the model of the guns on the ship itself seems like they are rails. It supposed to be like that, or just my eyes tricking me?

They're Electron blasters, Electrons have that long thin barrel look going.

Models for railguns are more... blocky. These are T2 electrons (like someone already pointed out).

Those look like techie 2 blasters. techie 2 rails are grey with blue lights pointing forward down the barrel (like teh red lights on techie 2 uzis)

Would be nice though to have ingame 3d models resemble the looks of the module-icons, in my opinion.
You know, with this short and big barrel, looking like the exhaust of some pimped street racer.
And railguns with longer and thinner barrels.
Of course not only hybrid guns have this problem, e.g. pulse lasers too should more resemble their icons
Probably goes for all four races.
Or maybe I misunderstand the icons. Do they show the actual turret or just the bare mechanics underneath, with the 3Dmodel you see on the ship serving as kind of outer armored hull to the vulnerable turret inside? That could be an explanation for the different looks...

wow, i cant believe yall believed him..
all he wanted to do was link a jpg of his shiny phobos with t2 blasters to try work on his epeen 
Admit it, you know that was ur motive..
that said..i wish t2 med rails looked as nice as those blasters...
nice cover story tho, u fooled quite a few ppl..
