Just lately when i try to download a video from eve-files they often stall after a few meg's, if i pause/restart it will start again but then stall a few megs later the weird thing is that this doesn't always happen some files download without a problem, anyone know how to cure this?

I had exactly the same issue until I started using a download manager. I use Speed Download on Mac but there are loads on PC so someone can recommend one no doubt.

Thnx currently I'm just right clicking and saving (using firefox3)

Thnx, might have to wait for an update though, not sure it works with the latest firefox?

I use bitcomet + flashgot, np with ff3, no probs with speed, etc, supports resume aswell, handy stuff..

T'is what I use, but the problem persists for me, I need to babysit any Eve files downloads as they time out quite often, and ALWAYS time out at 99.99%. Kinda annoying tbh but I haven't found the cause and it happens to different OS's. Could be my ISP but that is very doubtful.

well the other d/load manager i've gotten used to using is Free download manager which while not integrated (although it can monitor the clipboard for urls to d/laod) is a great program.
Also its never failed to d/load stuff from eve-files for me.
