Start your own thread praising CCP if you want. Or a "Flame Mr Poutyface" thread. I don't care. Just keep with the intentions of the thread: a compilation of problems with CCP's service. You can still see the old thread here: http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=722672&page=1 I'm going to compile all the valid complaints I see into this post (post your own below and I will add them): -on going lag issues, and game features that promote lag -on going credit card issues -a supposed GM hierarchy that accomplishes little ("higher" GMs don't seem to go more indepth than "lower" GMs) -GMs not being empowered to troubleshoot, references to logs unhelpful -assuming the worst of the customers ("including the wheat with the chaff"), creating a generalized policy based on this assumption -too much focus on new features rather than fixes If you have your own to add, or the above should be made either more specific or more general, let me know. That's all the posts below should consist of. Once it looks like a list has been finalized, a final petition thread will be made to CCP for players to sign.

I believe, or rather, I KNOW CCP has been able to get away with what they have so far because there has been nothing to push them to improve. I don't know if they intended it this way or not, but the way they've kept down opposition is by cross talk. If you want to rally people beyond your alliance, you need something outside of game that reaches all players. You can create a website, but if you link to it in these forums, it'll be taken down... so, they force you to be left to the chaos that is the forums. So, you can state in the absolute clearest terms, which I believe I did, what the intentions of the thread are, and you will still get a disrespectful forum troll making useless posts. It wasn't even 60 seconds after starting this thread and Pasha has posted his flame template. I reported him, but I really wonder what THAT will accomplish. Will a Mod go "ah ha!" and use that as an excuse to lock the thread? Anyway, I hate hearing everyone blab but no one stepping up. There have been so many times in game where I just wanted to follow an existing gang, but no one would step up as FC, so I did. Likewise, I keep hearing people complain about CCP's service in game and on TS... but I mention it on the forums, and much of what I get is just cross-talk flames. There's an irony here. When I take the lead in game, I "trim the fat", that is to say, if you're not with the gang, you are not WITH the gang. Bam. Booted from fleet. When I take the lead in the forums, I can't do that, so this chaff that is just all talk ends up accusing ME of being the chaff. If you accuse me of being a whiner, chances are, you were called a whiner, and just want to pass on the insult. If you flew with me you'd know that's a load of ****. Why would I complain about a 100 mil isk Raven loss and not a billion isk Vulture loss? The former was due to what seems like a bug, the latter died in glorious battle. So, that's what it all comes down to. CCP/EVE's flaws getting in the way of having fun. This thread is meant to catalog those flaws. By making worthless posts, all you accomplish is holding EVE back from improving.
Gonada Gallente Cross Roads Ouroboros Cross Combine	Posted - 2008.07.06 21:47:00 - [12] sorry, ive had many petitions over the time i have been playing, and I think thir CS is not bad atall. the problem with alot of the people crying, is the fact they run crappy computers, know nothing about optimization, and even then, it all falls down to your ISP... is it good? bad?.. are you on dialup? playing on a great DSL carrier, i get no lag even in jita with 800 pleayers all clamorig..... so maybe before crying fould, look to yourselves, and see how you can make it beter. -I don't necessarily agree with everything I say.- -nerf Missles-

As far as game features that promote lag, drones promote lag, but drones are a very interesting and useful aspect of eve, you cant just take them out to make eve slightly less laggy. Can't say much on the credit card issues, but if it's worth anything, I have played for 2 and a half years and havent had any problems, but then again, I've never had to change it or anything. Again, can't say much on this, but how much more indepth can senior gms realy go? How would you suggest to empower them? There is a reason they assume the worst. It's because it's to easy for a customer to lie. Half the time, the new features are the fixes, and when they are really new they are to help keep the game interesting to people who have done everything or to attract new customers.
