It just seems that with a tax rate at 15% you could be keeping away some good pvpers, My main is looking, but since my alt dont make crapOla for ISKys I run missions every couple of months hard for a week or 2 to refill the hole in my pocket. If you guys kill that much that you make sweet ISK to cover your 3-400 mill set ups that great but even then why bother with a tax if your just spliting loot?

It's very simple.
15 is our CEO's Jersey Number he puts on at home while we PvP ingame. For some reason , that only God knows, he likes the number 15.

Simple, 15 is a Rhombic Dodecahedral Number.
It takes millions of isk to rent offices each month, it takes millions of isk to pay for a killboard each month, it takes millions of isk to fuel my capitals to help pilots move their gear, it takes millions of isk to fuel pos's and more importantly to be able to buy them and their fittings, it takes isk or real life money to pay for vent. The eve-o tax system is designed specifically to do this, the alternative is to ask each player to pay a monthly tax and we know that won't work.
I'll let you pay me cash instead, if you prefer :) (kidding).
I have not heard anyone else say 15% tax is keeping me from joining you, and 85% of the bounty on rats should be ample to keep you in ships and ammo. It works for us and it will remain the same for the next several months. Once we hit a player threshold, it may be reduced... but no promises.
The brutal reality of this game is you cannot please everyone all the time, and so I will try to keep the majority happy; but not at the expense of doing the right thing.
