Does this still work?
Someone i know said the skill he was training stopped when his char went offline a few days ago.
And with the price with GTCs going through the bloody roof. It's becoming really hard to run all my accounts now. So i was thinking of keeping one offline while he trains a long LvL5.
Just wana double check, don't want to end up leaving it offline and it doesn't train

skill training does not continue while offline. this is why so many people afk in stations. - Mission running: not as exciting as smashing your hand with a hammer, but more painful. |

Ta for that.
Running four accounts now is a real pain in the arse.
Was manageable every three months but near 70GBP on a game every two months...

Yes, your skills continue to train when you are offline or your account is inactive until the current skill finishes.
Nothing special, not big or clever, just 20 fighters and one hell of a tank.... |

I'm pretty sure your skill DOES continue until it's finished, if your account goes inactive.
Also here's a tip on how to get TWO CHARACTERS TRAINING SKILLS ON THE SAME ACCOUNT AT THE SAME TIME. Yes it is only do-able when you transfer a character (which is twenty bucks or whatever). But - make sure the character you are transferring to the empty slot on the new account is training at the time of the transfer. That character will continue to train... even if you are already training on one of your other two slots in the account. Heck, you could even get three training at once!!!
So - advice to character traders... arrange with the buyer which skill you should be training prior to the character transfer. E.g. Caldari Battleship V, normally over a month, can be gotten for free if it is started just prior to the character swap. The buyer's other character should be training something long too. I don't think you can start a skill if there is already a character on your account that is training... that's how the code works.

iirc, this corrects itself at the next downtime.
