"Reply to Topic" needs to be buffed, half the time I get the "You're going too fast" error.

I require that CCP allow me to overload my entire Thorax. In an all-gank/no-tank fit, it should fly directly at my chosen opponent at the speed of a nanoship and then explode doing the same damage as a DDD. -

And how would you overheat a cargohold to make it bigger? lol.
Makes no sense on Roleplay and realism point of view.
Matter compression, EVE has it.
On topic, the miners get left out once again. Hows about overloading mining equipment allows you to finish your entire cycle immediately with the laser taking damage either fixed and higher than normal, or according to what percentage of the cycle time remained.
Handy for getting out of a belt ASAP without wasting your current, mind-numbingly long, mining cycle.

Overloading mining lasers. Hmm. Kind of on the same level with increasing lab sizes to allow you to use battleship hulls in the T2 BS invention process. Heh. Well, what the heck... put it in. For Darwin !

Only makes any sense whatsoever for ice mining.

OK, I think this is an awesome idea, CCP should do it. Then, a week after it's in game we can laugh at the people that overheat their mining lasers then come to the forum and whine that they now make less money because of the nanite paste/repair bills.

180sec base cycle time on strip miners, a bit longer than most would to stay in a belt when local fills up. Even the 30 and 60 seconds on Gas harvesters and t2 mining lasers is more than enough to get you killed if you were to hang around to finish the cycle.
