Lets face it, the Goons are taking over. They Blob and Blob with little to stop them, but are they alone? In a recent article - http://myeve.eve-online.com/news.asp?a=single&nid=2193&tid=7 The Goons jump into BND to take over the system and in the first paragraph RoadKill is called the ENEMY! WTH...? So the Goons jump into RoadKill Space and RoadKill are the Enemy?? Come on face it, CCP wants the Goons. They hold an election for a player based council and now a Goon heads the council? If I had 2800 players in my Corp, and that number twice over in Goon pets, hell I could do that to. Was there any doubt? Come on CCP, how bout a Goon break. Give us a GSM leader that doesn't promote scamming, pirating, suicide ganks, and generally the most deceitful game play that can be played. Think about the Intel that could be had if CCP were backing you? Alt info, Corp or Alliance affiliations etc.? WouldnĘt that be helpful to a yearning dictatorship?
One thing for sure we need some form of electoral voting system so the Goons donĘt continue to head the council. If we could get an honest leader in that spot maybe we could get some Goon control.
Personally, and I speak for myself, I feel the Goons hurt game play, drop the number of players that we could have in game, I know two players that have quit because of Goon BS, and if we control the Goons we could very well promote growth in players, market prices and healthier game play.
