Pretty much set a long skill and play a different game or lay off the computer games for a while. I experience the same thing serveral times a year, its a great time to get Exhumers 5, BS 5, Large gun 5, or anything that takes a month or so to train. Just take a break and you'll have a renewed vigour when you return. -------------------------------------------------- Everyone is born right handed, only the great over come it.

more constructively, yes i have my solution was, take all my old gamecube/ps2/xbox/360/wii games, go to gamestop and trade them in for a couple hundred bucks and get a new big selection for xbox 360 games and just ignore eve for a month or two.
works like a charm

Ok, I'll be serious in one post.
I've had this feeling two.. three.. or is it four times before.
What did I do? I took a break for starter, tested some other MMOs via beta trials and realized nothing beats EVE.
Then one time I created a corp just to help newbies on their feet and spent my time teaching them stuff.
I did a COSMOS guide for my own pleasure (and for some friends, all hail Kimotoro Directive).. COSMOS was fun..
I roleplay also, that is fun as hell..
Now I have this thing called real life and own firm that takes up all my time so no EVE, only forums now and then.
Try stuff you haven't tried.. on the top of my head of stuff that is a challenge.. - go into POS stuff - apply to ISD - start roleplay - try fiction warfare, it is rather new - build a corp with own goals - give me a dreadnought

Banker don't mind all the give me your stuff reply's, trust me your not the only one facing the same problem your having.
Seems like most people just set a long skill and take a break for a few weeks, play another game.
Everyone is different, but I and 2-3 of my close Eve friends are in the same boat as yourself.
We decided to try out FW for 1 week, tbh I don't i will make it to the 3rd day.

Yeah. Twice now.
Set a really long skill training and take a break for a bit.
You want a Scorpion? Train Caldari BS to level 4, then other stuff, wait for your current sub to run out and just before, set BS5 going and leave for a month. --

It's Simple, Look at all the Stuff you can do and see which one you find Interesting. I know I used to Carebear a Lot, Then I started to learn how to Probe, and I got quite good at it and can Probe a system pretty quick. when that got bored I moved onto something else. Also Don't Play Eve 23/7. You are allowed to play other games, Or just Pick up a book and read. I found a lot of the Eve Related stories posted in the chronicles area to be incredible reads as well.

Alternatively try something else - I got bored of Eve twice, as I said. First time I left the game for 6 months, this time I'm just using alts and playing with the market - it's not "exciting" but it lets me skill up, i can pay for my accounts with isk and I dont need to undock. In 2 weeks I'll be ready to play properly again.

If you power grind missions and stuff like that, you will get bored just like with any game. Even more so with Eve since the missions are worse than in most other mmorpg games. Its not the focus of Eve to kill npc's.
What you need is to find whats fun for you and do it. Maybe its roaming around with a small group of friends in low sec, killing off the ships you catch?

I have. Usually when I get bored doing something in Eve, I do something else. I make up new goals as I go along. If that fails, I just stop playing Eve for a while, switching to a very long skill in anticipation of my return. When I come back, Eve tends to be more fun than when I left. --- Earning Isk Basic Skills
