About two years ago I was to work on a movie for EVE but due to health reasons and me not playing for a while the project was shelved. About 4 monthhs ago I started up the project again, and started to build the characters from scratch. I will keep this thread open as a diary to the progress of this project, from which I will be using Sooftimage, Carrara 6 Pro and the EvE engine itself.

Yes, the chin size was a result of the lighting, so exagerrating feratures will be nessceray me thinks
yes the next character will be female, and dedicated to a deceased player and a character familiar to most of you for her Amarrian arrogance, her Brutor pride and her struggle to overcome her half breed nature.

Check out Tri-Exporter if you haven't already. You can do a search for it on the forums.
I would start small TBH, and work on creating movies from the Chronicles. This will give you some good feedback on textures, "mood", and what not.
Also take a look at the video from the most recent get together ccp had in iceland. They show some station interiors. That should give you some stuff to work on =)
