I would be very pleased if the GMs or Devs could give us some information about the number of Apotheosis given out and how much are still in the game.

This isn't the gm forum it's the market forum.
If you really want to know put in a general petition asking for the number.
I've shot down at least one apoth myself and I'm sure a fair number of them have been lost.

I asked it here for market reasons, I want one myself and want to figure out what would be an acceptable price... at the moment there are sell contracts up to 25 million ISK.

Their value is what ever that one rich, crazy investor is willing to pay. Personally, I have an offer for 35million ISK so far for mine. I turned it down of course :)

There would be well over 300,000 Apothesis in existence. The question is how many people are willing to sell theirs. Most people probably want to keep theirs as a memento, unless paid well for them.
I'm thinking 10 mil will probably get you one.

Hint: The circumstances were as follows. My corp was frivilously war decced at the time by a one man corp and I was flying an alt. I got more done than I would have with any other ship even though it ultimately wasn't fruitful.

~300k Active subscriptions, even if each account had 2 characters average, that makes ~600K Ships, lets be generous and say that ~100k had been destroyed since inception - that leaves, average ~500,000. Ships. That's five hundred thousand, or half a million.
