i have the ability to target lock on 3 objects, but can only fire on my 1st target only. is there a skill i need to get to fire on multiple targets or is this a glitch i'm having? i've tried everything! waiting till target countdown ended and then selected a laser and doing this for every target aquired.
thanks for any help you can give to this newb!

What ship are you flying? To fire on 3 targets your ships need 3 or more gun slots and 3 or more guns equiped on the ship.
Say you got a ship with 3 guns equiped(can be missiles also, like 2 guns 1 missile launcher or whatever). Lock 3 targets, you get them all on the top of you screen. Then klick on the target you wish to shoot at, activate one gun, klick on the next target, activate the next gun, klick on the last target, activate the last gun.
Should now have 3 guns firing at 3 targets. Given ofcource you locked pirate ships, you cant shoot a asteroid for example hehe

Click on a different target box at the top of your screen. The one with the selection arrows around it is the current active one, and any guns or ewar gear you activate will go towards that one.
Click on one target, turn on a gun, click on another target, turn on another gun.
Having said that, most of the time you're better off concentrating fire on one target at a time until it's dead.

thanks for the suggestions to you 2! so what i do is wait for all three pics of the targets at top right to show 1st. then select each one and asign a weap right?
as for what i'm flyin i have a few ships in punisher, executioner, omen and prophecy!

Yup, just left click the ship or the picture that signals your lock. Generally it's more efficient to focus on one target until it explodes though. The sooner any one target dies the sooner it stops dealing damage to yourself, and the sooner it stops repairing the damage you've done to it in the past.
