harbinger or armageddon? which one will do it faster.
experienced pilots only(that means you must have flown both to compare) - Mission running: not as exciting as smashing your hand with a hammer, but more painful. |

Depends on the guns you wish to fit on them, but Armageddon will dish out more damage and has better survivability in terms of damage taken.
If you're worried about hostiles, Harbinger is faster and more agile.

Comes down to the security status and type of system. If you're going to be able to actually farm a system up get some decent spawns and keep jumping between good spawns sansha or blood, the geddon is probably the best ship in the game.
If you're going to fight a mix of things, have to move around alot, crowded systems in -0.0 to -0.3 or so the harbinger might stand a chance, but even then it will be slight.
Mind you the geddon will have no tracking issues, deals about twice the damage and honestly the difference in movement isn't that big of a deal, especially not considering the extra low of the geddon. Parrots, commence!

Well at first i thought harbinger cause it is one of my favourite ships but thinking about it the geddon will take the bs spawns down faster and has a bigger drone bay so you can have multiple sets of drones including the oh so necessary ecm drones to break the pirates lock if they catch you.
Mind you though when i fly around hunting ratters the armageddon is the target of my dreams especially when im flying the arbi.

Harbinger for me any day as I tend to rat and loot therefore I want something that is at least relatively mobile..! Also, the damage is nasty with a full rack of heavy pulses with multifreak's. Personally, I'd never rat in a BS in 0.0. Just don't see the need. too slow, too much of a trophy for pirates, too much money on the line (for me anyway)

Edited by: Snow Banshee on 11/07/2008 08:52:13 much dephend if you are quiet zone ( i mean you are in an alliance and you rat where other people are frindly and not a possible chaser). In this case a BS is fine.
If you want just go in 0.0 but you are not supported by an alliance then i would suggest smaller ships just because of agility ( in order to not be ganked). In this case a pulse zealot is IMHO perfect ( if you can afford it)

This from Ammar. Nano Sacri no because it has too little DPS with no bcus Arguably my opinions represent to an extent the opinions of my alliance and in particular circumstances give rise to a valid "casus belli" claim. |
