Possible to raise a -5.8 standing?

Qahn	Posted - 2008.07.11 13:22:00 - [1] I have a negative standing with Amarr. My diplomacy raises it to -4.0. Although I have a positive standing with Amarr member corps, the agents will not give me missions as a result of my standing with Amarr. Since I cannot get any Amarr missions, it would seem to be not possible to ever raise my Amarr standing. Is there something I am missing? I went with another player to do a storyline of theirs, but when they finished mission for gang, I did not receive any adjustment.

You have the found friendly member corporatian of Amarr,mostly Interbus and Sisters of Eve. Find from that corporation`s only Amarr agents to do missions for. For that info see agent info first to see of the agent is from Amarr race. Than start running missions for one of these Corp tbh i prefer Sisters of Eve. Every 16 missions you get a storyline what helps your Faction standing back up again. I did it all in 3 weeks time till my gallente faction standing was back up to -2.0. From that moment it was possible to do lvl 1 missions for Gallente again and now my Gallente faction standing is already back up to almost + 1.0 and im running LvL 4 missions for it for weeks now. And stop doing missions for Gallente and Minmatar they are at war with Amarr so it screw up you Amarr standings! Btw is see you have a Faction standing of above 6.3 with Sister of Eve. I`m pretty sure you picked out the wrong Race of agents all the time so find Amarr race agents with that Faction/Corp and it will go up pretty fast. And you dont need "Diplomacy" you need " Connection" skill to get your standing up. Train " Connection" up to Lvl 4. Its only 2 or 3 days. **This post belongs in Out of Pod Experience**

Yes, I understand the relationship between Gallente and Amarr. But I don't really want to just log on and sit there so I have been running missions. Now that I have a plan to switch factions, I will try to get SoE missions instead. I do have Connections 4, but it doesn't seem to affect my current standings with Amarr. I have several of the specialty types of connections too. Thank you guys for your suggestions.

By derivative standing this should slowly rise your Amarr and Caldari standing after each storyline. Ammatar Mandate agenst should do the same thing, no corp name from teh top of my head. -- Coming to you, Assault Ships fix, by the people saying that the Gallente Recons are fine.

Assuming you can get into highsec, if you'll come over to Derelik region, I'll take missions with my research alt, fleet with you, let you do the missions, and then I'll "complete by my gang" with the agent. Soon you'll have enough personal standing with the agent to get the missions yourself, then it's simply a matter of you doing the missions yourself. And you might get a jump clone or two out of the deal, too. (See .sig) Why would I do this? Because I want some storyline missions for my research alt to gain Ammatar Mandate faction standing. Every mission of his that you complete, is one less mission I have to do for him. win-win MDD Jump Clones: 8M and NO corp switching

Your options in order of effectiveness are: Ammatar Mandate Caldari State Mordu's Legion Command Khanid Kingdom Beyond that your only hope is to join a Amarr/Caldari FW corp and raise your standings through rank promotions.

But you better make them count as you can only get them once for each of the 9 promotions.
