This might be off topic for this forum but i couldent find the right place for it. As alot of you know alot of places in 0.0 are safer than empire.
A small corp paying rent to a larger pvp oriented alliance can safely mine rat and do whatever they want as long as they watch intel.
My suggestion would be to make the 0.0 rats stronger like they did with the factional police in empire. if some isk farmer goes into a plex or a belt in a poorly fitted raven to make some easy isk those rats should give him hell and even pod him if there able to take out the ship. I think the same should be done with LvL 4 missions or higher (at least the pod part).
Again sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum but please, id like to hear some feedback.

First off, this should be in the Ideas and Features Discussion section.
As for the actual idea, well... I fly an almost completely T2 fitted Armageddon for ratting in 0.0, and some rats still force me to leave the belt to rep myself. Furthermore, the race for 0.0 systems with a negative true sec status (if you didn't know, some 0.0 systems are actually rated with negative security status, i.e. -0.4, the status of the system I usually rat in) by the large alliances for their better rats and ore keeps politics moving. Remember, we don't want new people to be scared out of 0.0, especially by the NPCs. ----------------------------------------------
Say "Amarr ships suk, lol." I dare you.

Yeah good point, only problem is that empire is almost a lucritive as 0.0 with the mission running. I still think that any mission lvl 4 or above should be in low sec. And i still think rats in .4 or lower should try to pod you. As far as your geddon having to warp off from belt rats you might want to rethink your setup.

0.0 Rats in the most lawless systems are tough enough. Getting tackled by a rat can be fatal if there is an enemy around with a jammer.
I think 0.0 is fine, it's low sec and hi-sec that need a review.
Low sec rats are hardly worth the effort considering that you are at much at risk from attack as you are in the more lucrative 0.0 systems. Faction Warfare has done a lot to revitalise low sec in the war zones and hopefully we will see this spread out a bit.
Hi-sec missions are just one big ISK faucet. They are nearly as lucrative as ratting in a 0.0 system (assuming a non-negative system with no officer spawns). The biggest issue with missions in hi-sec though is the amount of ISK that can be made with no real risk. That and the fact they are an unlimited ISK pool.
Belts can be mined dry, ratting systems can get too crowded, trade margins can get razor thin and buy orders filled up but you can always hit the 'gimme mission' button any time of the day or night and go grind up some Kredits. No competition, no risk.

Missions should be hard and unpredictable. They should be unpredictable to the point that you can't just look up what it is on the internets, and it should contain a smaller number of more powerful ships. They shouldn't be the same ships, either. Maybe one mission you're up against a bunch of well-tanked battleships, where another could have some nanoish cruisers. Maybe give 'em some real EW and make ECM work the same way it does with players
I hate the whole "Easy, riskless ISK" thing.

The only reason I run missions is so I can fund my riskier ventures (which don't earn isk, because when I'm doing the riskier stuff, I care more about fun than money). As long as I can afford to have fun, I'm fine. --- Earning Isk Basic Skills

Try soloing lv4 "The Assault". You will never suggest that rats have more ecm I guarantee it.

Cripes, there are half a dozen L3 missions that'll have you tearing your hair out over NPC ECM...

Anybody who says missions are too easy and or need more ECM either haven't done very many or are mission runners who fly billon+ isk setups, and those shouldn't count.
The question in that case is... Are they Braggin, or Complaining?

WTF? You're doing something wrong then. I've never been forced out of a belt, even when I was flying a T1 Drake.

Ahh welcome to flying amarr, even with our newly boosted ships and supposed tank speciallisation we still can't even tank the belt rats in a -0.4 system.... |

I would like to see tougher belt rats but for the love of God reduce their ecm or stop them from cheating with ecm , perhaps having belt spawns as follows:
avg spawn in a decent ratting system: 3 x 1.1 mill bs + 3 bc or cruiser to 3 x 1.1 mill bs, 4 x cruiser, 5 x frig / destroyer.
0.0 plexes are tough enough as they are :) |

But they are easy, and while the ECM can be annoying, it's not exactly fatal…
…and I say that flying a <100mil setup (but then again, it's based around drones, so that's kind of cheating ). I guess I fit into the "bragging" camp.
