i am tired of ratting for isk and i heard that exploration is better income source
so i am wondering if exploration is more profitable than ratting in 0.0

Well, I stick to RADAR sites and they yield me an avarage of 2 Managament Databseses/Books/Thinhies, which do between 12-20 mil each where I live. I find most in HiSec, the NPC's are pathetic, so it's easy money.

You cannot put an average isk/hr on exploration.
You might spend 10 minutes probing and get a site worth ,say 150m, or you could spend 2 hours probing and not get a single site.
Exploration _can_ be very good source of income, but it involves a bit of luck, and patience, where ratting is just constant isk.
The sites you might find in 0.0 can vary from <10m isk to >1bil isk.

Image knowing there is a site in the system, you are within range to use a sift probe (best probe) and as you hit scan over and over for 3 hours just trying to find the site. Then you relies that its in the early morning and you need to get up in a few hours so you give up and go to bed not being able to find the site.
Plus you have the added comfort of being in Exploration channel when someone says that they just got a 3.7 billion drop. Yea.....
But exploration is my fix I need something just as FW or mission running is.

Luck: yes, it's luck, but looking at the long run, it's not just liuck. In general you indeed hop systems untill you hit a radar site, say. I find other sites not that interesting. Mainly I explore HiSec and LowSec, rarely go into NoSec. Hitting a RADAR site might take some time, then you have to scan the system. I do an analyze in 120 secs: highest skills, special equipment. Some1 mentioned 3 hours to find the site: I have yest to spend 3 hours to find a site, but you could get unlucky. In general tho I think you would spend mostly less then an hour, far less. Anyways, in the year or so I do exploring(on-and-off) I have lost once a cruiser to a fellow explorer, and that was a very stupid mistake on my part. Anyways2, I enjoy exploring and have enough income. I do not let cold economic analyzes decide what would be most profitable to do. I play EVE to enjoy myself. But to each their own, ofcourse.

if u look at 10min time scale even stable income becomes unstable, so it's really just troll
how about extend to time scale to 1 month and spread the luck factor a bit ?

Looking over a period of a month Exploration>Ratting in 0.0 if you ask me but requires decent skills and equipment

*ahem*
It's impossible to put a single figure on exploration.
A couple months ago, I made about 3-5b in about, 3 weeks. There was a lot of unused space, and I had 2 chars on 2 screens, with a pretty good probe alt. I did solo some 6/10s, which netted me a fair bit of cash from a-type cruiser mods. The prices of those mods, in the 3 weeks I explored, dropped at least 200%, if not more. Ship interfaces dropped about the same, from 150 to 50m per. Data cores were the only thing (and BPCs) that truly remained consistent in price.
I did make a fair bit of cash. Could I make that much cash, today? Probably about half of it, depending.
I had all of the constellations I probed completely covered, with a bookmark reminding me where exactly to put each probe. I had a sisters launcher, 2 rigs, and good skills. I had an excellent tank domi and a very good gank abaddon. I had knowledge of all the site types, what's in them, what they drop, how to tackle them, what signal strength they were from a quest probe.
Long story short, it's not as cut and dry as ratting. A big downside is nearly everything you get from exploration, you need to sell. It's not pew pew --> directly receive isk like ratting. I'd say you'd probably make less ISK in the time spent, but it's certainly not as boring. If you do decide to take up exploration, you need to get organized.

Its like ratting in the drone regions, great profits if you get the stuff to the market to sell.
