Hi all,
may be a stupid question, but the search functionalities don't seem to clear it up (to me, at least).
Is EVE Voice free to use, or is it an extra-pay to use?

CCP were initially planning to offer EVE Voice for a price, but after an extended "free trial period" they gave up on that idea and just left it as a free service.

As has been stated above EVE Voice is free, not too many peeps use it though. Has great features but biggest problem is if you crash/DC then you lose voice comms as well as EVE (and we all know you never DC from EVE at a critical moment  )

all the FW bods use it though as it easiest way with out having to give TS detail or vent details to 100'sa of peeps

eve voice is used in factional warfare. it works amazingly well for that, since getting noobs onto ts/vent is functionally impossible.

My buds and I use eve voice several times a week just to chat if there is enough of us, for that it beats having to rely on a third party program like vent or the xfire system (though the xfire's voice system is good in itself). I mean come on, its right there and free.

Subscription payment costs did not - the costs (and coverage) of Gametime Codes did.
