need a stabber as guarding for haulers and miners, i will ofc haver m8s with me so is thinking in the direction of a wannabe nano-vaga setup
Highs:
4x AC 1x smart bomb(maby another nos if i cant keep cap up) 1x nos
mids:
1x mwd 1x webber 1x warp scrampler
lows:
1x nano 1x overdrive 1x gyro
will allways have a thorax by my side geared for drone dmg.
is it realistik at all ?

Kill the nos and smartbomb, fit launchers or neuts.
Switch the web for a large extender.
Fill your lowslots.

Edited by: DubanFP on 13/07/2008 19:28:43 Webifier on a nanoship is a big no-no. Because if you can web them, they can web you. Switch out for a Large Shield Extender II. Again Nos/smarbombs get you way to close. Getting that close in a nanoship is suicidal. T2 guns is highly reccommended so you can fit barrage amo and still hit at 15km. Without it you'll have to rely on missiles, which your fit doesn't have, for what little damage you do have.
Still in a gang of fast ships your collected group can usually deal enough damage so it's very good considering the high survivabillity. Just don't ever think about getting within web range in a speed ship again. _______________

"a webber on a nano ship = big nono" ty very much rather learn it here than in-game :p
afterr some reading we have decided to change setup, the plan is now a vexor and a rupture.
vexor: orbit 17-19 km, nano geared, wrap scrampler, drone dps.
rupture: AC, webber, dual nos, 1600mm rolled tungsten plate.
just rough setups but hopeing this might work out, but noobish me probely forgot something :(
flame away plz

I just recently tried the nano Vexor thing out and to be honest it isn't all that exciting. If you want to go fast enough for speed to truly have an effect you should stick with the Stabber or fly an interceptor. You could also go with the plated/small blaster Vexor setup which works very well but then you'd have two big slow susceptible cruisers. I think having the strong but slow Rupture setup along with a truly fast ship like the Stabber would be a better combo in my newbie opinion. ----- http://evenewb.blogspot.com/

you might be very right but i am minmatar and my brother is gallente so gonna stick to those races, its only to do some pvp with qurrent skills(might need a few specfic skills but far from cross training)

try a thorax with ecm drones and rupture with full gank fit, both are resonably speedy and can pack a hell of a punch and the ecm droens lets you reliably take on much biger targets

Normal drones do damage, ECM drones do ECM stuff and break lock of target.
What is your obsession anyway with one nano ship and one normal ship? Why not just 2 normal ships? 1600mm rupture + 1600mm vexor for example. Or rupture and thorax.

I was alone ratting in some 0.0 system when a Crow jumped in and didn't show intentions to leave. So I built this:
4x 220mm ac II medium neut II assault launcher
web scram mwd
1x od II 2x nano
Popped the Crow and leeroyed a Rapier the next day. Some people would call this luck. I call it risking a T1 ship by expecting your enemy to be an idiot. Some people would be surprised by how often this works ...
BTW: This ship died to friendly fire before getting any more kills like the above. Some idiots deployed bombs at a gate without telling anyone, and I happened to be at that gate with MWD running when the bombs went off. Some people would call this bad luck. I say that's what an alliance is for <3.
