Schani Kratnorr x13	Posted - 2008.07.13 23:32:00 - [120] Four pages in the time it took me to get back from that fight - impressive For those who werent there, here's a "grunts view" of the action. After doing a bit of stuff for someone, we picked up a few more people and went to the CCP system (sov.3 cynojammed). The heavier ships, which for once did not include me, warped to a tower and started shooting the cynojammer while our lighter ships lit fires and camped. Some Red Alliance people in medium/light ships moved up from one direction, while a larger group of 3 or 400 sat next door ready to jump in and savage our cosy little camp. Some playful misdirection from both sides followed, and the heavier ships moved into position, abandoning the attempt on the cynojammer in favor of a proper fight. Moving from the CCP system, we attempted to head off the Red Alliance medium/light gang. This fleet had by now had a few heavier ships reinforce it (I think), and a jump/lag fest ensued. I personally never loaded the grid properly, though I managed to get one ship on my overview and help tackle it. By now the larger (IRON) gang had managed to load up and some of them began jumping in, slowly moving the fight in their favor. At last that is the impression I got from listening on TS (by now I was being blown up). What remained of our fleet from CCP got into the HHK system and despite horrible lag, we covered them with a rather large collection of capital ships. The few dreadnoughts we had were sent to reinforce the lone tower in system, and much to our surprise it was discovered that no strontium had been put in... (much laughter ensued). After making sure neither IRON or RA posed a further threat, the reinforced fleet moved back into the staging area for tea & biscuits. I was sure IRON would have jumped into CCP and roasted quite a few of us, but as it was they decided not to, and we managed to move to engage in another direction. In that respect, lag probably worked in our favor tonight.
