I've checked many pages down and can't find anything like this in any other thread...
Not every single time, just random instances, when I right-click an object in space, there is a chance that I immediately see (overlaying a frozen EVE client) the Microsoft error message stating that the application just experienced a problem and had to shut down, do I want to send a report to Microsoft (which I never do)? Once I click "NO", I am immediately kicked to desktop and EVE is no longer running and I receive no other messages of any kind. I am simply on my desktop as if EVE was never running.
I can play the games for hours w/o incedent by just ensuring that I do not right-click on objects in space. I have to use the overview to interact with objects in space (w/o incedent, ever). I can right click anywhere in random space to pull up bookmarks, planet, and asteroid belts with no issue at all. This crash ONLY happens when I right-click on an object in space. Obviously it happens the most when I forget and I right-click a stargate to jump thru, but it is not limited to stargates as it has happened with every type of object at one time or another.
I have lived with this for a few months, but after a mishap during potential PvP action (didn't lose my ship), I decided today to uninstall and reinstall the game..results...same thing.
I am running in premium grpahics mode on my main computer and 2 others that are running base graphics and they never have this issue. My last resort may be to try and run the game in regular graphics to try and cure the problem.
Anyone got anything at all for this issue?

same issue for me .... =( i have no idea why is that so , and its only with premium , it othervise runns vell and good but crashe to desk with random times .q

i have the same issue... anybody knows how to fix it? Video Card is Geforce 8800gts. Premium runs perfectly about 130fps but crashes to desktop on random times without any warning/error or anything. |

1) run the logserver
2) make it crash

This is definitely a good idea.
Additionally, I would recommend you try clearing your Cache and Settings folders (see here for instructions on how to do this), as this may also fix the issue for you.
