An anonymous source says that a IRC/ED mining op went uninterrupted in R-6 while 18 hostile Burn Eden pilots were in system. They reportedly didn't interfere with the mining op even though there were 7+ hulks and a Rorq in the belt. Unconfirmed reports say there may have been a small fleet on stand-by.
Genious or madness? The FC of that op must have balls of steel!

I heard stories of this mining opp while the majority of us were afk. But unfortunately for the people that were there(less than a hand full) a generous size fleet was awaiting their attack. Not to mention the 3-5 cov ops that were constantly probing.
On a side note, our entire group including 7-8 cov ops in the right places didn't consist of 18 pilots.
Evil Pookie will be making a forum post soon with more information.

Burn Eden was contracted to harass ED for a few weeks, and not IRC. Oh, and ED can thank the Goons for the contract. Hope this helps explain why BE would be AFK during an IRC mining op.

I can't speak for my corpies, but I was too busy with my mining alt in ED to launch an attack...
