Hey there,
I've noticed that there are two different kinds of icons for wrecks. The wreck icons are basically triangles with a line beside them, but for some wrecks the triangle hollow and for others it's solid. Does anybody know why there's a difference?
Just to clarify, I am not talking about the icons changing colour after you've looked inside them.
Thanks, Trans

filled in (solid) means there is something in cargo.

Outstanding, thanks. I tried searching the forums, but couldn't find the answer.
Cheers!

And as a quick followup, knowing which wrecks to open saves a lot of time when salvaging. Bring it within 5 km and just activate the salvagers, without needing to wait until it gets within 1.5 km, then opening it and then salvaging it.
Very helpful.

Also, if you setup your Overview to show which types of wrecks are from which types of ships (i.e. So-and-so Large Wreck, So-and-so Medium Wreck, etc.) will help you to target the best wrecks for the most salvage, just in case a Ninja Salvager invades the Mission Space you're in.
I have my Overview setup this way, so that I can actively seek out the best wrecks first, and make sure Mission Runners don't get them before I do.

You dont really need to wait until 1.5km even if it does have loot. If you salvage successfully before you can get the loot, it just pops out into a can that you can loot.
