Hi guys,
I am having a problem with boredom in the game. At the moment I have 2mil+ skill points and running lvl 2 missions in a BC and salvaging everything. I am making decent money but the game is getting very repetitive. The answer is probably pvp but i can't find any corps that will take in someone that is new to pvp and show them the ropes. I find tutorials on the basics of the game but nothing beyond.
What should I do?

Try joining in some faction warfare to see if you like it and develop some pvp skills, then try the pvp corps if you find it's your thing.

Stop PVEing, that's not what EVE is about. join a proper non mining/mission corp and interact and pvp

Fly around and cause some trouble. EvE is only fun if you make it fun.

Thanks for the tips and links, I will definitely check them out. I have another question if you guys don't mind? I am Minmatar and my corp is Caldari so I came meet them and i'm raising Caldari faction to run missions and do stuff with the corp. Can this hurt me in the future?

Well every 16th mission you run from an agent they will give you a story line mission. These typically are against the corp factions main opposition, in your case Gallente. If you do these missions then you will loose standing with the Gallente Federation. Do enough to drop the standing to -2 then you will be attacked by faction police in Gallente controlled space. These NPC are easier to tank then CONCORD and it is legal to evade them whereas CONCORD evasion is a NONO. Also getting missions with Gallente agents in the future becomes harder and requires the social skill Connections I believe.
If you run the storylines you get Caldari faction standing increases which allow you to run missions with a more varied Caldari Corporations. If you pass the storylines then you only gain standing with the specific corp. It is a toss up on wether or not to do them. Then again I do not run missions very often.
