I am sorry if this has been asked before but I am looking to hunt npc's that drop small projectile guns and named launchers. I am having a horrible time finding this information. What I am looking to find out is what type of npc's I should be hunting and a general idea of what area to look in for them. If someone knows of a good place to hunt for these and wants to share that information I would really appreciate it.
Thank you for your time.

Weapons drop according to the 'race' of the NPC that uses them, so projectile weapons will drop from Minmatar NPC rats (Angels, I think are the main ones). For small projectile weapons, target frigate rats.
If you can handle NPC cruiser rats then hunt in lower security systems (around 0.3, say) as you'll get a good mixture of higher-end frigate NPCs and cruisers.
If not, stick to 0.5 or find a spawn point.

He's correct, arch angels and angels drope projectile weapons and mostly malkuth and limos launchers. The arbalest and ZW-XT and such types are very rare amongst angels and should be looked for with gurista pirates (caldari space and PA 0.0 territory). Arch angels spawn in minmatar space, parts of immensea etc. and Cusre Alliance space. _______________________________________________

Any suggestions on where we might find a spawn point or even what systems to look in for them? Someone else told me there was a sight on the internet that listed a whole bunch of spawn points but I have searched for it and been unable to find it.

Sure thing, they were probably referring to Explore-Eve
