Is a missile boat a practicle PvP ship and if so what would you reccomned? I dont mind skilling up BUT im not exactly loaded with ISK. Most ships are viable - the caracal very much so - if you know how to use it, however teaching anyone to pvp on a forum is impossible. Get yourself a corp(I take it East India is carebear only?) and let them teach you, try around a bit, buy 50 kestrels and lose them all - just make sure it's in different ways. The two things you'll have issues with using missiles and caldari in general is long range fleet engagements(due to missiles having to travel they're hard to synch) and running around solo. Solo can still be done - but most of your ships are aligned for group engagements so you might experience it being slightly different from other races. Parrots, commence! Postcount: 67720

There's nothing wrong with them what so ever and they're one of the strongest weapon types around. If you want to be really good at something specialize in it and use that. If you start training some lasers, some hybrids some missiles and what not - you won't be really good at anything. Having the option of choosing different approaches to things on your own personal level is a luxury of those that has spent years training for it. If I were you I'd do what I said, grab 50 kestrels, keep specializing in Missiles, complete it with ECM or (heavy or normal)interdictors or even cov ops and you'll be sought after in nearly all engagements. But first thing - learn how to play. Don't buy into whatever biased thread you read that day - but read up on things and draw your own conclusions - figure out how YOU want to play. By the time you've specialized so deeply that the very minor differences between weapon types matter that badly - things will have changed. Right now large artilleries are subpar - but by the time you can utilize them very well - they will most likely be not. Parrots, commence! Postcount: 64859

Laser or maby blaster? use whatever you like. they all have advantages and disadvantages. drake is one of my favorite ships (I would probably fly it if i had anywhere near decent skills for it) that naturally recharging buffer tank is damn nice, even docking in stations fills up your tank... way better than trying to rep 40k armor on my geddon with 1 lar

Only hull repper we could find in the area was a SMALL. In the end, after waiting for 5 minutes for his hull to regrow, he just bit the bullet and paid the millions to get the quick reqpair.
