Can someone please explain this to me? Why do members of PC corps have such a rabid desire to kill any NPC corp members in 0.0 space?
Obviously, I'm a noob. I do plan on joining a PC corp eventually, but I'm very curious about this 'policy'.

Because a lot of spies hide within noob corps. And since there is no way of actually differentiating between a noob and a spy alt most people just tend to shoot them on sight.
Why dont you just DIE DIE DIE !!!!

Noob corp member in 0 sec space = spy.
Alliances claim space, if you aren't part of the alliance you are KOS for said alliance, they will atleast try to kill you... ________________________________

Yea, that pretty much covers it.
If you're a newbie going to 0.0 space just to have a look round, you say "I'm a newbie going to 0.0 space just to have a look round."
If you're an evil spy going to check up on the enemy fleet and give your allies inside information on the best way to set up to kill said enemy fleet, you say, "I'm a newbie going to 0.0 space just to have a look round."
Err on the side of caution. Destroy on sight all newbies, because you can't tell which ones are the spies.

Well, aside from the fact most noob corp members in 0.0 space are alt spies, CA is closed space. We kill anyone we find who isn't CA, including noob corp members.

Great, now you can retire with the knowledge that you beat everyone and can tell that tale to your children and their children, until you die old and in bed. --------------------------------------------------

They are still considered intruders... ...and in some cases, they are considered spies anyway...

No, just pirates hiding in a n00bcorp. So we shoot them anyway.

i went to explore 0.0 space barely a week after i started, ive been killed twice there. I did make it to a market station first tho witch was my goal. Had some notion i could 'smuggle' in cruise missiles and big ammo to sell at high prices.
I think ill try to hit a roid field next time and try 'ninja mining'. If you pk all i ask is also pod me.
Is there any 0.0 space not claimed by these massive alliances? or a friendly alliance?

In the north, the three alliances who claim Fade, Deklein and Venal, also keep (or try to keep) Tribute, Vale of the Silent, and Pure Blind, as open space. Anyone is free to operate there, except for pirates and PKers, who get hunted down (sometimes, at least).
In the southwest, there's Querious and areas around it, which I gather are kept free by the CFS. But I've not been down that way in months, and you'd be better getting advice from someone who knows the area.
