The explanation is simple... With the GTC changes... Playing for ISK became about double expensive.
That is how most of the Russians play EVE. Therefore they have turned their might towards max ISK generation to compensate. Which means taking every high end moon in the game. Killing allies, nothing matters.
So the RA/Solar offensive is solely the result of CCP's GTC changes.

heres how it works, RA makes about 400billion isk per month, which they sell for real money.
this money is then paid to the RA members based on time logged in. They have supervisors etc and a whole work structure. Managers, supervisors and enforcers etc, who carefully and accurately log the hours of members. They are then paid for there time with the real money.
Of course people like Omeega are the richest, as is the head of any company.
So when you log in to fight and have fun, RA is logging in to defend there bread and butter literally. Probably makes eve more fun too.

never said nothing was wrong with it :)
morally nothing is wrong with it... it is only against game rules.
but if you can log into a cyber world such as eve, control that cyber world, and earn your living from controlling its virtual assets etc....good job.
but people should know eve is not a game for these 0.0 alliances. or at least RA

It is NO conincidence that the Russians started going for the jugular for high end moons after the GTC changes.
This is CCP's fault both for the greed of their changes, AND for the stupidity of making moon mining STATIC and making it so that basically only two types of moons are worth anything.
Doubt that CCP does anything about it. The Devs like all MMO devs are pretty stupid and don't know what they are doing.

would you rather a great flawless game no one played? or a crappy shitty game that everyone plays? if you were a dev.
if they made changes to the way the russians make isk, they'd lose lots of russian players.

And you do? It's the devs game for one, they can do as they please. You pay them to play the game, not to design the game to your exact specifications.

This is old news,everyone knows they do it,ccp knows they do it and the sad fact is ccp cares not a jot about isk farming or isk selling so why should we?
