I think the PS3 is more then capable in handling Eve. PS3 is already in use on several mmo's and is more then likely going have more in the future. I just would like to see Eve on the PS3 and my 52" tv :D
But the likely hood of CCp workin with "Suits" from Sony might be plausible I cant see them working with that Micro---- company

Edited by: Xonkra on 16/07/2008 16:58:49 I think it would upset the people who whine about they don't want shiny grafix and that all recources should go into bug fixing and jita solutions.
I on the other hand don't own a ps3 but hey, i don't mind. It would be so easy to tackle a battleship anything in a belt when you have to select a planet or station with a gamepad from a drop down list and then warp to it

Hack your PS3, plug in wireless keyboard and mouse, install Linux, install and play EVE. Problem solved.

Edited by: Straight Chillen on 16/07/2008 17:18:57 Theres no hacking of anything involved. If u got a decent PS3 with the larger hard drive, you have the option to partition it and install an OS of you choice. However Do understand that this is not support by sony, so your on your own. The main issue is getting the games to run with the hardware, but it can be done. I would recommened that u mabye go with linux, as that is the only OS system capable of support the cell proccessors in the PS3, otherwise u will just be running 1 core with windows.
So it can be done, You just have to do it your self
edit: also PS3 will support just about any USB keyboard/mouse, unless they require special drivers or plugins

Last I checked, the PS3 GPU was locked when running a custom OS.

My first reaction was "EVE on a console? pff". Then I thought about it for a second. My next reaction was "Sombody actually bought a PS3?" _______________

I could program it to load/avoid certain sigs based on the page content, but the bandwidth requirements and load time would jump up. -
